Circus continues. Board are running the club to the ground!

If a quality manager comes ill be amazed!! Didnt they turn someone down before? Not sure if a rumour but was links to think PSG manager and they said no .

Think they just hear some names and think "They'll do". What even is their end game?! Just buy and sell players and dont really matter much in-between? Its nuts This wont change anything just be back here next season no doubt. The issue wont go away which is mainly how the club is currently being run.

This is what worries me. I doubt we'll get someone better just someone different who is around the same level...maybe they'll prove me wrong but not holding out for much

And 15 from the top..closer to 17th then first. Know we'd never challenge for the title but still to be so far behind again...and potentially 5 from 4th if Liverpool win already...who were in 'crisis'. Once again we're hoping teams below us drop points so they dont leap us! Maybe can start the year with a bang. Or a diaster

Thats the thing recently Arsenal are building a team to win trophies. A lot of their signings and clever and make sense! Strengthening in areas they need to strengthen. Only team with a 100% record in the Champions league atm and although might not win it come the end they look capable of challenging on all fronts. Meanwhile our signings seem to be all over the place or youth players who we'll loan out and never see again. I very much doubt if he gets sacked like you say our next manager will make sense either. And do we have the pull for quality anymore?

We'll probably win against City somehow and they lose and draw the rest of January In all competitions this month we've played 8 won 2. Not even a shock anymore when we drop points or lose more when we win!

The only thing separating us is goal difference. Weve won/drawn/lost the same amount so just depends who is worse at the end. Liverpool can go 5 clear if they win when they play so think be hard to catch they've found form. But this shouldn't be where we are! Not after all these years of building. Imagine having 21 goals against in 18 games... I miss those days! Like said before as lovely as winning the club world cup and conference league all it did was temporary pave over the obvious cracks. As good as they were feel they paved over the cracks. Now we're back to fighting for likely 4th again and potentially facing a Champions League play off and potentially come the end of the season if things dont improve back to the manager hunt.

They went from being whatever it was clear to fighting for the Championship title when they did win it. That should've rung alarm bells for the board but instead nope lets hire him!

And if we were to do that where does that leave us? Just floating around mid table for ever onwards as we sell off our best players to other teams who are capable of winning trophies. We used to be able to attract key players and decent players for the team we were and where we were heading. Now its more how much money we can offer them..if nowhere else comes along with a better offer. Whats also bit urghhh is since we last won the league closest we have come to the top is 15 points gap. Every other season been 19 and above...used to be a lot closer or seemed a lot closer. Times have changed

Wouldn't blame him. We're not building anything atm. I know they go on about a project but its been about 4 years or so now and nothing is changing or coming toegther. They'll sell him buy some more youth/young players who we'll never see!
