Good news,the Sun has decided he's staying lol Joe Cole insists he is happy at Chelsea after reports linked him with a move away from the club. The England international was surprisingly omitted from the Chelsea side for their Carling Cup final defeat to Tottenham. Cole, amongst others, was understood to be unhappy with his treatment - but he responded in great fashion at the weekend as he inspired The Blues to a 4-0 thrashing of his former club West Ham at Upton Park. Speaking after the comprehensive win on his former stomping ground, Cole insisted he was happy as a Blue. No drama "I don't get too much involved with all the dramas around the club," he told The Sun. "My job as a player is to try and perform as best as I can when selected. "I played and made a contribution so I am happy with that and happy we got the right result. "The right performances and the right attitude were all there for everyone to see so it was a great response. "It was a great response, not just from the players who played, but from everyone at the club. "We have had a good week to take it all in and we have put in a good performance.
