I dont think he would make much of an impact on this team.

I am also a Real fan, not to the degree I am following Chelsea, but I visited Madrid earlier this summer and Bernabeu is the only European stadium I have seen in person and Madrid is the only major city that has a top flight team that I have been to.

Also I think I read somewhere that Real is at their minimum number of Spanish players, so if they sold Sergio Ramos they would then have to go get another Spanish player. I dont think they would want to shake up their squad like that.

Any indications which way the conference is going to go? Im guessing if its Santos holding the conference they are announcing a new deal with Neymar

So many people are just making stuff up that it is so hard to follow. The only thing people agree on is that there was a real long meeting that occured yesterday. Ive read places saying that Chelsea looks like they failed in their bid attempt, Ive read that Santos convinced Neymar to stay. Ive read Neymar said he will only go if he gets a starting spot on Chelsea. Ive read that Chelsea is now willing to pay the whole buyout clause and his dad wants him to come so he is moving closer to coming. All these varying reports are all about the same meeting, its amazing the differences you can get from the same event.... at least it looks like it will all be over on Friday....although they said last week it would have been over by yesterday....so we will see

I really dont, Im not that confident, two days ago I was probably about 80% he was coming, yesterday 30% and today about 50/50 lol. So many twists and turns, I may wake up tomorrow and change my mind again. Im almost to the point where I stop following it and just look on September 1st as to whose roster he is on.

I hope he comes. Right now I have a blank black chelsea kit, if Neymar comes I think I will have to get a blue Neymar kit

That brings up an interesting point, how many people have actually seen Neymar play a game and not just youtube highlights? I only saw him play with Brazil against the USA, he looked pretty good, but I can't draw too much from one game.

I think we get more "Chelsea is close" or "Deal is in near future" storys today, Im guessing an amount is agreed on tuesday with it being official later in the week

Lets say we complete the deal this week for Neymar, how much time does he play this season? I do not see him starting, he is basically going to take Kalou's spot or what?
