Solid Performance , we cant expect alot from the guy , he needs time to adapt Essien took about a season to get going and if he turns out half the player Essein is we will have another solid midfielder in our ranks!

Was Great to see Josh and Gael get some game time though i do feel danny should have been kept on till the end maybe Carlo was hoping Nico would get 3 , still think it will be the same front 3 against blackpool Malouda Drogba and Anelka , but its good to see Carlo is thinking of the kids.

The good thing is there is news about this transfer so its still possible , though i think we shoud keep our feet on the ground until somthing concrete comes up.

Im 50/50 about this one , Neymar is a fantastic talent no doubt but will he be able to stand in the physical league this is , but i still feel this deal is in its early stages and if it takes as long as the ramires deal we may not have time.

I think we have missed the boat with neymar , there has been no more bids or speculation since , so i fear we may not bid again fingers crossed im wrong.

I Agree to some extent , kalou is a good backup player for games against smaller teams but we do need someone better Neymar seems to fit the bill and would be cheaper than aguero. Though unfortunatly i think we will stick to our guns because carlo seems to rate kalou.

Even though he was bound to leave this summer it still comes as a shock ! . Thanks Riccy , you will be missed , you can give us a penelty in the CL if we get madrid if you like we need some one with pace to cover terry now.

I think unfotunatly carlo will stick to pretty much the same team that played yesterday baring maybe Drogba instead of Kalou ( with anelka moving to the right) i cant see many changes as Carlo likes to keep it the same.

Studge was fantasic when he came on , but i still dont see him starting on sat , we all know Carlo likes his established first teamers , though im really hoping danny will get his chance this season. One of the other issues is Kalou , just because he was there to tap the ball in he will be first choice over Sturridge.

After watching the game and having a think, i feel we had a good game and on any other day we would have probably won the match , as i felt utd's goals where all on the counter , we retained possession and it was great to see essien again , though i do feel anelka and cole were below par today , cole seemed to get caught out of postion to many times today. id also liked to have seen katuka and matic inclued in the squad let alone the game , carlo knows what yossi can do , but the likes of katuka and matic are yet to be tested. the best outcome of this game was sturridge , i thought he came on and looked like he wanted to play , thats more i can say for nico he seemed fed up at times , though him and kalou will always be ahead of studge in the pecking order , so it is wishfull thinking that we will see danny start on saturday. Though all that said im looking forward to west brom and think it will be a completely different game and if we play like we did today and improve our final product we will see them off with ease.

We all know capello will stick to his guns , so that mean Terry , Lampard and Cole will all be playing Wednesday. But this is defiantly good news for Drogba he needs more time to recover after such a quick come back.

I watched a few of the French games during the WC and Anelka didn’t seem half as interested as he is for Chelsea i seriously think the main issues there were due to his relationship with domenech

Hi Been a long time viewer and decided to sign up , have been a Chelsea fan for around 15 years , unfortunately not been able to attend for the last 3 seasons due to moving. Looking forward to the new season though.
