  1. In the space of 10 seconds Pizarro had a shot cleared off the line and Shevchenko almost got on the end of a good ball!
  2. Lita breaks through the back four after an excellent pass by Convey. He gets past Magnay and then rounds Hilario to score. 2-0 Reading.
  3. Stoch now on for Younghusband. Of the three strikers I'd say Pizarro has been the sharper, with di Santo and Shevchenko not at the races so far.
  4. Headed goal for Michael Duberry. Poor defending by di Santo who lost his man 1-0 Reading.
  5. Half time and we are 0-0 and I'd say we are shading it so far. Shevchenko had the best chance but his shot was crowded out.
  6. Nice to see Grant in the crowd a very even game so far with no maor chances - our best was probably a tame shot by Younghusband. I've been impressed with van Aarnholt in defence. Pizarro making countless errors.
  7. That's true and thankfully we have tons of "leaders" within the squad so if there is a total breakdown with the management things won't be as bad as like what could happen at other sides.
  8. I'd like to see Bristol City, Stoke City and Ipswich Town come up
  9. I definitely think this has to be a good thing - the more links we create the larger the club can become.
  10. The panel are a complete joke and I will only have respect for them if they overturn the red card and ban. Sky Sports News seem to think it will be overturned anyway.
  11. I heard he has banned our players from visiting it after the Carling Cup performance
  12. hmmm if all that is true then that is not a good sign and shows things may implode Will Abramovich back Grant or the players though?
  13. I wonder if Joe will be leaving again tomorrow? It's become a joke!
  14. Because they are and always have been complete morons. West Ham will never be a big club they will always be a feeder club to us and Man Utd. They just don't like it
  15. Good to see solidarity though that's what we need at this point in time.
  16. Team News: Chelsea: Hilario, Cummings, Ben Haim, Magnay, van Aanholt, Smith, Sidwell, Younghusband, Shevchenko ©, Pizarro, di Santo Subs: Searle, Ferreira, Gordon, Tejera, Stoch Reading: Federici, De la Cruz, Sonko, Duberry, Golbourne, Kebe, Cisse, Halls, Convey, Karacan, Lita Subs: Bennett, McCarthy, Brown, Bozanic, Illugason
  17. Good to see I hope the FA see sense!! Chelsea have appealed against Frank Lampard's dismissal in Saturday's 4-0 Premier League victory at West Ham. The midfielder tangled with Luis Boa Morte and then pushed the winger after appearing to get caught by a kick. Referee Peter Walton consulted his assistant before brandishing his red card and then booked Michael Ballack for his part in the melee that ensued. The Football Association said that the appeal against an automatic three-game ban will be heard on 4 March.
  18. Arse still have to play Red Scouse at the Emirates and Scum at Old Trafford so they could lose points there. Really speaking I think a Scum-Arse draw would be fantastic.
  19. We'll be there I'm confident Grant will have been shocked by the reaction to his crazy tactics and selection so will surely sort it out
  20. If we can beat both Arsenal and Man Utd at home surely we then become favourites for the title?
  21. Should be 3 straightforward wins I think we need to have a look at racking up some goal difference against Derby as well - I don't think we can catch Man Utd's +43 but we are only +11 behind Arsenal. If the red card doesn't get overturned then they may as well close down the appeals panel. I wonder if it was the same assistant ref that flagged Anelka offside?
  22. It depends on his current fitness levels - he always seems to take longer to get his match fitness back than other players. He isn't even being given bench duty at the moment Hopefully he will be given a run out against Reading and then maybe bench duty on Wednesday.
  23. He was showing some excellent form in December/January so I think we need to persevere with him. I wonder if he will play against Olympiacos or if he will feature for the reserves against Reading?
  24. Guardian: Roman Abramovich is ready to bankroll a £5m Chelsea deal for Brazilian wonderkid Thiago Carleto - but he's a target for Real Madrid, too. The Blues are also set to battle Man Utd for American whizz-kid Jozy Altidore, an 18-year-old striker at the New York Red Bulls
