  1. SkySports News just reported Malouda picked up an ankle injury on Saturday. They reported, Chelsea don't think it's serious.
  2. Does anyone know how many games it's been since we were last beaten at Stamford Bridge? How great would it be to replicate (& go beyond) the 86 we once had :chelsea2:
  3. Napoli vs Milan tonight on ESPN. Should be a good one..
  4. If I'd read this at the beginning of the season I would've laughed it off. But the fact he's already got 6 means he's definitely on his way.
  5. How's Adriano doing at Roma anyway! I was glad once I found out he'd been signed but haven't seen him featured much. Is he still the same player he used to be?
  6. Agree about the keeper. Amelia does not look like a kind of keeper that'll keep them solid. Lord knows how they managed to keep on Dida for so many years, he was god awful! However, Borriello and Hunterlaar had an awful season last year. Mind you, if Pato wasn't injured no-one would've noticed. However these 2 failed in trying to fill that void. Ibrahimovic and Robinho signings were genius. Especially Ibra, he's been scoring in almost every game.
  7. I agree with everything except the Seedorf part. He's been immense for them this season, his passes have been top notch. But agree that Gattuso needs to be replaced with KP.
  8. I hope Benitez plays Coutinho tonight! He's an immense talent (well.. He is Brazilian after all).
  9. I don't think Chelsea would release the figures really. Perhaps when they reveal their profit/loss numbers at the end of the financial year.
  10. Unfortunately La Liga is just a giant monopoly for positions 1 & 2 will always be disputed by Real & Barca The real battle is from 3rd-6th. You've got Valencia, Athletico, Villareal & Sevilla all battling out to get 3 & 4 & then there's everyone else + relegation.
  11. I don't think they'd care, he's got 5 goals in 8 games for them
  12. When it comes to striking options, AC Milan really did well this summer! Their attackers; Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Ronaldinho, Pato, Inzaghi!
  13. Well, Drogba's improved a lot on his "theatrics" so there's a bit of hope there for Krasic. Apparently Juve are in for Dzeko in Jan! (Also, I think you need to make an Eredivisie thread because PSV are leading Feyenoord 9-0!!)
  14. Valencia for me on this one! They started the season well considering they'd lost 2 icons (Villa & Silva). But I was glad they kept hold on Mata & Banega. Unfortunately they've lost their last 2 games so they're 4th now (though, it's still a close gap)
  15. I know what you mean. He's a class winger and would be welcomed at most top teams (I think United are still after him) but his dives are probably the most cynical and obvious I've seen, but, because of the standard of Italian refereeing he gets away with it most times.
  16. My Serie A team is Fiorentina. Was very happy to see they're out of the relegation spot
  17. I heard a rumour he maybe forced to retire early, not sure about it though..
  18. Problem with that is, it makes him very predictable. They know he's going to cut back and a good full back (like Ash) would be able to read that and stop him.
  19. He doesn't score, he just barges into goalkeepers, so they can't get to the ball. (like he did to Schwarzer vs Fulham)
  20. I have this theory, the source to Bosingwa's great play is that brow! I hope he keeps it as long as he plays
  21. Not an easy game at all, especially away. And especially with that (mind my french) c*nt, El-Hadji Diouf!!
  22. Yeah, this is why I go to as many FA Cup, Champions League & Carling (though that's not an issue anymore) as I can. These are based at £30 approximately. Premier League games are £50/ticket
  23. Hey! We go when we can, things are expensive now
  24. Kind of hoped for more goal (like most) but respect to Wolves, they made a game of it. Jarvis & Ward were on point. Bosingwa had a good game, glad to see him back. Could've had 2 goals if luck were on his side . Good to see Kalou back firing as well. Not the best of games from Drogba, but he did enough I suppose. 3-points in the bag, and here's to hoping ManCity stuff up tomorrow
