  2. Bold of Villas-Boas to take this job so early in his career. Especially given how quick this club is to fire the manager. For his guts, I commend him. Hopefully he'll transform this club into something that can dominate the league and perhaps Europe for years to come.. Given the right amount of time & financial backing.
  3. More surprised he hasn't mentioned Shaun yet.. What an absolute bitter c*nt.
  4. Bosingwa deserves a second chance. It's no secret he and Carlo fell out after that United game. He has just come back from a long-term injury.. Before that he was one of the most attacking right-backs in the league! I'm sure he could recapture that if properly managed.
  5. Maybe.. We have loads more people playing now than we did in the first season. However the issue of people having to wait a week (if they get knocked out early) might make some people bored..
  6. Lazy journalism. Especially since Neymar isn't on the table for us anymore..
  7. I'm having a separate issue.. When opening pages or even posting messages the page hangs on loading. It's only when I press the link or post again that the page will load up.
  8. So SkySports News said.. Roman sent a private jet for Villas-Boas yesterday and is in London today. He'll hold face-to-face talks with Roman Abramovich to discuss objectives, goals, personal terms & all that.. Then is expected to sign a 3-year deal

  10. Yeah I think the club would encourage Clement to stay on at least. We do like to have our own coaches promoted no matter who. Though I imagine he'd like to select his own direct right-hand man. I'm sure he wanted the guy who took over at Porto today though.
  11. Appropriate backroom staff. Understandable why he wants his own opposition scout after holding the role himself he'd know the best.
  12. Damnit, you beat me to it.. I was about to pull a similar one
  13. Haha that's true. We can only hope they've released it now, because it's a done-deal!
  14. Hope so.. It's like I said before, he's the start of a new direction in this club. This is the first time under RA we've gone for a young manager who hasn't won the big one yet (or it's international equivalent for LPS). With this gamble we can only hope RA & the board will give AVB the necassary time to transform this club into something that's building for a long-term future in terms of style of play, the players & overall objectives of the club. The "obsession" will always be there. However the appointment of a manager like Villas-Boas shows that can be forsaken in the immediate future if we're to capture it, and many more, later on.
  15. LMAO so true. Then again, this is the first time they've actually commented about a target. Something they've never done, no matter how much we plead
  16. Well the reporter said Hiddink "won't join Chelsea in any capacity" so..
  17. Breaking News: Chelsea pay the £13.5million buy-out ^ SSN
  18. Blues News not giving much away, than they already have. They're saying the resignation handed in but money not paid yet (which we know.. has now.)
  19. Yeah but I highly doubt they'll announce anything. SkySports News said Villas-Boas will meet Roman Abramovich tomorrow.
  20. Also: Guus Hiddink will not join Chelsea in any capacity. Not as director of football or anything. SSN correspondent.
  21. Villas-Boas flying into London today, will meet Roman Abramovich tomorrow.
