  1. Yes, that's true. As Kieran Vogel said before, 'Where's the André that subbed Kalou off in the 35th minute of a game?'
  2. I agree about the United example. But think about it, when Cleverly returns he'll play. When Rafael returns, he'll play. Smalling, Jones, Fabio, Welbeck. Alll these players had a risk taken on them.. Alright Jones' quality has been slipping of late, but hey, at least United took the gamble. I know the players I just named didn't come from the academy of United, but SAF took the gamble to play them. They were young & cheap (with the exception of Phil Jones). We have quality players in the youth team, it's not really much to ask to see a gamble here & there.
  3. Pretty sure we won't get ours broadcasted again..
  4. 1 bad example. But look at what he did with Wilshere & Sturridge. We've never even given the youth players we have a chance. Fair enough if they were given a chance, didn't impress and were dropped. Then we'd understand. But the fact that there's an element of arrogance as to use them is devestating. With FFP coming up, it's the perfect opportunity to promote some reseve players. They demand less wages, we don't have to pay for transfers etc. Hell we could say 'we don't need a right back' if someone took a gamble on Billy Clifford. We could say we don't need Alvaro Perreira if André tries Van Aanholt in a game. Don't get em wrong I still back André, but this is ridiculous.
  5. Thus we all became disillusioned with Carlo because of his seldom use of the young players. When André was brought in, several people tesitified that he was a manager who uses academy players. I would've thought this would be one of club's objectives, Arnesen often said Roman had this ambition.
  6. I would completely understand if this were a league fixture. However his is an FA Cup fixture v. Portsmouth. They're not a serious threat, they're not hard tackling and the pressure wouldn't be too great. We're not even saying they should all start but come on, Bertrand for Cole makes sense. Cole's played every game, virtually! Ryan's 22, he's got tons of experience etc. But no. André brings him on in the 86th minute! What's the point? Why not bring him on a bit earlier?
  7. I still back him, but André's lack of trust in some of our youth players is disillusioning. Bertrand gets 4 minutes, Lukaku gets 2?
  8. My bad, I've been on Five Live Xtra for the last 5minutes wondering how you're all hearing this
  9. LOL they way we're all looking more forward to seeing the players' hair than the actual game says a lot In André's inspiration changes I trust!
  10. I really want to write a letter of complaint to BBC Five Live for getting such a clown to do the commentary. Stupid man, lacks respect for the club who gave him over 100+ appearances. Stupid man, utterly stupid.
  11. I'm convinced he's The Sun's "insider".. Really infuriating listening to him. What a doughnut.
  12. Yes, got BBC Five Live on? Not Five extra though.
  13. Oh come on guys, the radio isn't that badd! It's exhilirating sometimes
  14. The last time I listened to a Chelsea game was when we beat Barca 3-1 in 2000! Zola made my life that night, we won 3-0 I think? I was a little kid running around kicking a balloon imagining I was there - Cried with joy when Zola confirmed our victory! Of course, we got knocked out 2 weeks later. But this feels nostalgic
  15. Glad we won't be watching the humiliation then, unbelievable.
  16. Nice, our defence in the future has a lot of potential, positive.
  17. Yes. Rogers & Chelsea have a wonderful relationship, still. Despite the little tiff he & andré had. Both clubs have done good for us, Swansea with Borini & Bolton with Sturridge. I think Coyle would work better with McEachran than he did with Kakuta because he'll have a better communication system. As he did for Wilshere. At the same time Rogers will relish with McEachran's vision & passing as Swansea play many short-passes.
  18. Yeah, but Maka's been at that club since their take over occured. He's been a good ambassador for them, I hope one day he comes back to us in a coaching role
