I'm just trying to balance the negative narrative by suggesting that maybe Sanchez isn't as bad as people are making him out to be.

I don't see why everyone is fretting. This is the most optimistic I've felt going into a season for a long time. We're a year into Enzo's management, so the squad have a far better understanding of what's expected of them. We've sorted our problems upfront and got a much bigger depth in midfield, which was the two big issues last year. We've also added Estevao as well.

I think it's the case that until he has a scan nobody knows how long Delap will be out for. Chelsea don't want to be in the situation of expecting him to be out for a few weeks and then finding out he's going to be out for longer, without any tine to react.
