  1. Maybe Ramsey's sale has allowed them to free up enough PSR funds to purchase him?
  2. As well as a development opportunity, I see loans as a test of the player. Do they have thew mentality to both step to the challenge and adapt to new club.
  3. Madueke's fee is taken into account, as is KDH. Unfortunately due to the sale price of KDH, it won't actually contribute towards the amount of money Chelsea need to make.
  4. This won't be a surprise to the club, they signed off and have accepted the punishment.
  5. Thinking about it, neither will Petrovic, Broja and Ugochukwu's transfers count as well and neither will any potential sale of Disasi, Gilcrist, Chukwuemeka,Sterling, David Fofana and Chilwell will count either. I could also be wrong, but I don't that KDH's sale price would even add anything towards sales number needed? It's also not like we can just decide to leave a couple of players out, we literally cannot register any new players, and this will include Fofana and Lavia who wasn't registered last time. Basically we need to sell Nkunku and Jackson.
  6. Apparently UEFA has conformed that only the sales from those who were named in the last European Squad will be accounted for. So Veiga and Felix's sale will not count in balancing the books.
  7. There may be another layer to Fofana. I've heard it suggested on a podcast that due to him not being part of the European squad last year, we have to cover his value with outgoings to be able to add him to the squad. It's the same with Lavia.
  8. I understand the conflict. Maresca is looking at this season, his job depends upon it. The board is focusing on big picture over the next few seasons. Personally I think we're more likely to recall Sarr, rather than buy a new central defender.
  9. The perils of a monetised social media. They have no new news, but they still need clicks/views, so they have no alternative than to repeat the same thing over and over again.
  10. Unfortunately it's been reported that he no longer wants to play for us.
  11. I agree, the deal makes sense of so many levels, but there's very little noise about it. I can only assume that Guehi has told us he's not interested in returning to us and wants to join Liverpool.
  12. I thought it was reported that Chelsea have balance the cost of any players added to their European squad with sales. So amortisation doesn't come into it. I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. Their settlement agreement states that Chelsea agree “to be subject to a sporting restriction and, as a consequence, may not register any new player on its List A to UEFA club competitions unless the List A transfer balance is positive.” To make it trickier, this cost also includes Fofana and Lavia who were not included in Chelsea European squad knockout stage of the Conference League last season, so the cost of adding them into their Champions League squad for the coming season must be taken into account. This could explain the reluctance to make more signings, I can also see the situation where some new signings won't be registered to play in Europe.
  13. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but do Chelsea still have to make around £60 million of sales before then they're allowed to register their new signings to play in Europe?
  14. If the Simon's deal moves 50% closer every day, will it ever get done?
  15. Boehly has to step down as Chairman in 2027, so he's probably exploring his options. There's an agreement with Clearlake that they rotate the Chairman's job every 5 years.
