I don't see Palmer leaving tbh, as long as we are at least respectably competitive in serious competitions and treat him right. I think he is absolutely loving life here and is genuinely thankful that we backed him when City didn't and have given him the big break he was fighting for for years. And the group around him is probably pretty much his dream setup. At least that is the vibe I get from the guy. He just wants to play and get some chippie chips. How's he going to do that in Spain? Can you imagine him eating Spanish food? Or trying to learn the language?

Also something needs to be done about the Spurs fans behaviour. Throwing items on the pitch and nothing is done. So many solutions to this problem. One of the most obvious would be that clubs get fined for not removing people from the ground promptly if they do this. If they do it repeatedly force them to play in a stadium full of opposition fans.

Suspect they will tire and get worse in the 2nd half quite drastically, as teams often do against us. Subs could have a huge impact. Still think we will win this. Still disgusted by Cucu, should get fined for today tbh

Basically our usual B team with Palmer and Caicedo mixed in because it is PL Enzo sticking to his guns with rotation mid week. If we are in CL next year we need to make some upgrades on this B group because they will get smashed against CL level competition

The new owners really took their time with this rebuild but the vision is now super clear, the talent developing nicely, and the feeling is there that we are just going to get better and better. Took an awful lot of badly spent money for Eghbali and Boehly to get their shit together but they really have got there in the end.

Pretty happy overall, for most of the game made them look like a pub team, admittedly a lot of the blame for that is probably more on them than anything... Still worried that we are not super cut throat (Noni world class clearance from Cole Palmer's shot due to him being situationally clueless and brain dead, never seen anything like that tbh) and a total liability in our own box (feel like every game we are liable to give pens+reds). But overall big progress from last years (where we did not even resemble a Chelsea side).

Can't complain about 3rd in the league, only Liverpool really look on a different level to us. Maresca's impact is remarkable. Did not fuck around whatsoever and got us into shape way quicker than I could have expected. One thing we still clearly miss is big game players who step up when we need them most. Maybe Caicedo is the only one who steps up or at least maintains his usual level in the big games.

Looked pretty clearly offside but still, overall happy with 1-1, nothing to separate us really. Palmer didn't look like himself at all today. Starting to really get a rep as a flat track bully who disappears in the big games.
