He does not have several years, and since Torres joined us we must balance our wages, and Torres+Drogba wont work, since we dont play good in 4-4-2. Even If Carlo says he want Drogba to stay, Im afraid the board will release him.

This is very clear to me. In the same day we will buy Torres for a huge price, they made this statement. Its just to say to Platini: "we are good boys, we are really trying to break even, we are only buying Torres now because we have done our homework, please dont ban us". This UEFA rules will be really difficult to apply, because everybody are talking about Chelsea and City, but United, Real and Barça have huge debits. Barça is in so bad financial situation that they now have one sponsor in their shirts. This statement is only to show to UEFA that Chelsea is trying to do what they want, and UEFA regulations is like that: "lets see who lost money and ban them". Platini said one time the clubs will be allowed to lost money, but they must reduce it. Only a club who lost money for consecutive years will be banned.

For what I have seen, this history about Anelka going to Liverpool is bullshit. It seems that we will not offer 50 millions. The good newspapers like Telegraph and Guardian say that we will not get even close of that, and Liverpool will not sell him anyway, since this will be such a humillation for them, in the same year that United will won the 19th english tittle.
