  1. Kakuta is french. Piazon is brazilian. Some sources say it is 7,5m euros, other 10, and other 12. I think 7,5m is the realistic one, since it came from the best source globo.com http://globoesporte.globo.com/futebol/noticia/2011/03/assim-que-voltar-da-selecao-sub-17-piazon-sera-vendido-para-o-chelsea.html
  2. Agree about 50m for Torres being the stupidiest deal in football history. Btw, I want Carlo out, only If it doesnt mean bringning Mourinho ( and his boring tatics, his outspoken style, his stupid claims that his stellar squads always need more players every window) back.
  3. Decent is not great. Great = Pelé. Decent = Beckham.
  4. Forget it. He wont get back. This guy belongs to the past. This.
  5. Thanks to Neymar, who decided to stay in Brazil. :eyebrows: I made my points because I believe this is normal. A player with this kind of price will have a different kind of pressure. Hes form in these 5 games were poor. For example, nowadays everybody says Shevchenko was a flop. But he wasnt that bad: in 06/07 season he was really important in the final stages of UCL, he scored a decisive equaliser against Porto in Portugal, he scored the equaliser against Valencia in Spain and gave an assist to Essien in the last minute. We reached the semi-finals because of him. 07/08 he started really good, but his season was doomed by an injury. After only two seasons we decided he was useless and let him go to AC Milan on loan. So, why was him a flop ? Drogba's two first seasons were far from superb, but while we didnt expected too much from thr african, the ukranian arrived with the status of best striker fof the world, and with a 30m pricetag. The expectations on him were high, since we were hoping him to score 20 or 30 goals a season. The expectations on Torres are high and he has a 50m pricetag. Thats all.
  6. also known for the awesome football, awesome beaches, awesome people, awesome women, awesome culture...Im afraid you've never seen those things, thats why you are a bitter person. :toke:
  7. Torres page on Facebook has something like 5m "like it". Cristiano Ronaldo has more than 21m.
  8. Do you think that he is this kind of player, like Messi and Cristiano, or like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were in the past ? Pfff. He is a famous player, but not famous enough to sell so may shirts to pay the stupid 50m. He is not as famous as Shevchenko was when he arrived.
  9. No fucking way. Rijkarrd and Basten are decent managers. Carlo is no more than that.
  10. Its not an obsession. We paid 50m for him. Its something we cant ignore. To other side, this argument that we will get this money on merchandise and shirts sales is not a good one. First, because he is not this kind of world superstar. This is Torres, yeah, this is Torres, this is not Ronaldo or Messi. Second, because there is no merchandise in a striker who dont score. Dont get me wrong, Im not saying he is a flop based in only 5 games, but Im saying that he deserve the critics. He is a 50m striker, and so the presure on him is not unfair as some of you are trying to say. He should have scored already. You can´t judge a guy like Kalou, who was cheap, in the same way you judge a 50m player. Only a silly one will think otherwise. As long as he dont start to score decisive goals in important matchs, I will keep the my opinion: he is not worth 50m.
  11. in these five games he was a flop, i dont know whats going to happen in next fiver years,
  12. Fucking amazing. But, "Samsung" in that small size ? lol, no fucking way.
  13. Please stop the madness. We paid 50 fucking millions for Torres. If you buy a strike for that price, you expect him to score goals. This "he dribled at 75 minutes" was really ridiculous and silly. Goal is what takes for a striker. As long as he dont score as many goals as a 50 million must score, he will be a flop. Period.
  14. I have this one! Its a shame that the size is for a fat guy, and I have a hot body. Btw, I love this season home kit. We should keep using red and blue, and stop the boring black away kit.
  15. I think Fergie is right. But the game is finished, we won and nothing will change that. :woo:
  16. Simple answear: because they are the fucking best team in the world. Yeah, the bald guy made a lot of mistakes that night, but the fact is that they were playing with 10 men, and we were playing a defensive football, it was like the spanish side had 11 players and we 9. And in 2009 we just proved that stopping them is really dificult, since we played like a small club, defending 100% of the time, and begging for the match to end with a 0-0 draw. We played really well against them back in 2005 in Stamford Bridge and got that awesome victory: 4-2; and again in 2006 we won in Stamford Bridge, with a Drogba´s goal: 1-0, and got a draw at Camp Nou: 2-2. But we were by far better than we are right now, and Barcelona is now better than they were. Your points made the spanish team look like an overrated side. They are not, and are way better than us right now. Even tough, I do believe we a have a chance if we face them, but I rather see Arsenal doing the job. Real Madrid was trashed by the catalans. Im not scared of getting them.
  17. I thought that Neymar's threat was closed...
  18. You did not get my point. I also agree that Premier League is by far the best league in the world. Leagues like La Liga only have Barcelona and Real Maddrid. But, it doesnt make sense that Kaká is not good enough to play in Premier League, because hes not fast enough. I remember one guy saying that Luiz wasnt a good defender to play in Premier League, because he wasnt big enough. Kaká destroyed Manchester few years ago, and managed to score two times in Old Tradford. Premier League is the best league, but Kaká was also the best player in the world few years ago, I dont know if he is that good anymore. If you ask me, I dont think we should buy him, Im afraid his best years belong to the best. What I don´t get is that Premier League is a league where you must be big and fast to be huge success. We have examples of players like Arshavin and Zola who are not this kind of player. In the discussion about who Chelsea should buy, Lukaku or Neymar, I have read thousands of arguments that Lukaku is better for Chelsea because he is bigger and stronger that the brazilian. We are talking about football. Modern football. Its not only about being fast and strong. I would choose Messi over Rooney to join Chelsea without thinking twice.
  19. OMG, again this kind of "he not strong enoug, hes not fast enough". Yeah, Premier League is another sport. If a guy is good enough to play for top clubs in Italy and in Spain, it doesnt mean he will fit in a Premier League club. I wonder why besides Ronaldo, none Premier League player was ever named the best footballer in the world. This guy whos too slow for Premier League destroyed Manchester United few years ago...
  20. I never believed we were going to pay 50m for Torres, now media is reporting we will buy Kaká in the summer. It would be another stupid move, imo. Kaká is a Real Madrid flops, why in the hell would we try to sign him ??
  21. Why do you think he will not leave ? Everything suggest otherwise: - Torres wont be a huge success as long as Drogba is here. - Drogba earns too much. Releasing him even for free will help the club to got into Platini's rules. - Until Drogba is here, there wont be enough room to change this Mourinho system, so it gets more difficult to add young players or to new signings to succed. Just see Zhirkov, he is a really good player, but this same-old-4-3-3 just don suit his skills. To me it will be a huge surprise if he stays for another season, and imo it will be really bad for Chelsea since it will demonstrate that this club struggle to look forward. Im afraid his place is not here anymore.
