I dont think its fair to compare Hiddink with AVB. The later is only a small manager with a very small cv in Portugal and in Europa League. First thing: Hiddink would have bought more players, would have took the best from players like Luiz. Luiz for example is the kind of guy that has a huge potential, but needs one good manager to teach him some things before turning into a world class manager, or a manager to discover a better position for him. I really dont think any player will learn anything with AVB. Management is more than tactics, you also must improve the team spirit, the players must feel confortably with the coach. Villas Boas was unfair with Alex and Nico, and is too arrogant, which make him looks a schyzophrenic guy, with a big mouth and a poor form.
