Man City two year ban from CL for 2 years and €30M fine. Good luck attracting and keeping WC players.

They stopped his training at that time because he aggravated the injury. He has a history of not recovering from injury quickly. I was hoping he would outgrow that trend as he got older. This has happened too many times for the USMNT and Dortmund.

I just discovered ESPN+ airs Ajax games. I have their 3 most recent games available on streaming and their remaining schedule.

I found this one striking for all the grief our board is given. It is in the Ziyech thread at RedCafe. We should have just employed Chelsea's board and saved ourselves a ton of cash. They have got some serious good deals over last 10 years. The money they got for Ramires n Oscar too was mouth watering. We struggle giving away our surplus players.

This might be an unpopular view as many here really like Sancho, but I think we would get much better goal production from signing Werner. Not sure that is possible as Werner wants to be with Klopp.

Billy has some serious skills, so far the stage seems to swallow him.

Not sure how reliable Kaveh Solhekol is, but he says we are still in for Onana and Sancho. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1241387/Hakim-Ziyech-Chelsea-news-transfer-Andre-Onana-Ajax/amp

It is good to see activity. Blues set for Boga talks The Mirror reports Chelsea are set for talks today with Sassuolo over a possible return for midfielder Jeremie Boga to SW6 The 23-year-old, who joined the Italian club on a permanent move two years ago has been in fine form this season, scoring seven Serie A goals including strikes against Inter Milan, Juventus and Roma. ‘The French-born Ivory Coast star is being targeted by Monaco, Everton and Napoli, but Chelsea have first refusal on him after selling him to Sassuolo for £3.5million in 2018,’ states the report. ‘A buy-back clause was inserted into the midfielder's contract which would see Chelsea pay £12.7m to take him back to Stamford Bridge. ‘The London club are considering triggering that option and signing him at the end of this season, with Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia due to meet Sassuolo president Giovanni Carnevali for talks on Wednesday. Carnevali recently said: ‘Chelsea can redeem Boga in June. We have a great relationship with the club and we met them before Christmas – also for other business. ‘They can take him back but we can also re-sign him, everything is open.’ https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2020/02/12/media-watch--chelsea-advised-to-bid-for-celtic-striker--set-for-

Wrong thread...

I think you are spot on. If we had the last two transfer windows signing players to fill needs, we might be in a position to go after one big signing and a few small priced players. As it is now, shaping this team to what Frank wants means there probably isnt enough money to sign a massive contract.

So I am going to put Nicco down as a maybe in support of this news.

I think Sancho is going to be very good, possibly great. I really cant see blowing up the whole transfer budget over him. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have him. If we have agreements with Onana and Ziyech as reported, I think this summer window may turn out pretty good.

I never buy that other teams tanked. It can often throw off a team's focus when others are going through a tough stretch. Chelsea earned 4th, they stayed the path when other teams crumbled. 4th was not awarded to us, we earned it.

Is there a site or a person that covers daily training for Chelsea?

Does Willian lose the ball more frequently than Pulisic? Does Pulisic dispossess players at the rate Willian does? Does Pulisic cross the ball as much as Willian? I am a fan of Pulisic and he has great potential, but do you really believe he has as good of an all around game as Willian?
-
When you look at the total skills, possession of the ball, defense, passing, distributing the ball, pitch awareness, and scoring....Pulisic is better at being a scoring threat and speed with the ball. Willian is still better at everything else, he just is not a winger that is looking to score all the time. Pulisic has serious potential, but I would not say he has a better all around game than Willian yet. Willian is consistent and doesn't dissappear for long stretches of the game.
