He played the first half. He put it right on the foot of Ajax strike only to have him fumble it right in front of the goal twice. I missed the first 15 minutes, they had a penalty kick at 13 minutes and when they were chatting about it they said the foul was earned by Ziyech. *(It wasn't Ziyech that earned the goal. Game just ended and they are showing the replays) I have not seen the replay. He has made several beautiful long passes and has taken several corners putting the ball right in front of the goal. I think you are spot on. If we had the last two transfer windows signing players to fill needs, we might be in a position to go after one big signing and a few small priced players. As it is now, shaping this team to what Frank wants means there probably isnt enough money to sign a massive contract.

I think Sancho is going to be very good, possibly great. I really cant see blowing up the whole transfer budget over him. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have him. If we have agreements with Onana and Ziyech as reported, I think this summer window may turn out pretty good.

I never buy that other teams tanked. It can often throw off a team's focus when others are going through a tough stretch. Chelsea earned 4th, they stayed the path when other teams crumbled. 4th was not awarded to us, we earned it.
