I agree what he said is vague. I think Lampard has been consistent in a player returns to practice, builds his fitness, then is slowly worked back in. I doubt we see him on the pitch any time soon. I would love for that to be wrong though.

I agree and when a WC athlete starts to lose a step, the decline can be rapid. He could stay excellent for several years, but it has risk.
