I have a feeling that the plan was to bring in Ziyech for Puli in the second half. After seeing Mount, just move Puli over and bring in Ziyech for Mount.

Enjoyed the 1st half. Really impressed with how much defense Pulisic is contributing. Adding more aspects to his game. I really like Mount, but he is not contributing anything today.

With this compact schedule we need rotation. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion something is wrong everytime a player is out.

I hope we get settled on this 4231 and a consistent XI. I am happy with this line up. I hope Ziyech gets more than 15 minutes.

Just read the Saints forum. They don't think Walcott will play. They have a couple starters still injured (Armstrong and Salisu) and even if their injuries were better, their manager is slow to put them back on the pitch without being match fit. I wish it made me feel better, I'm still a little shy to feel confident after last year and that 3-3 against a team not strong enough to be in the EPL. I can only hope. They are confident that Werner will score his first goal against them.

Haaland will win that easily. Davies had a great year.
