We have him on a long contract. I’m not sure these owners are going to force a player to stay if they want to go and a decent price is paid. We all know BVB never try to pay market values. I guess we really don’t know how the owners will deal with that situation. When Brighton tried it with Colwill we had different people making decisions.

They need to win this game. A draw does them no good. It will change how open they play. Our guys need to apply pressure but be patient and make good on the chances we get. Not going to be easy, but a much better situation than Conte playing deep and trying to get a counter goal to nick the game.

I think it is a position of need and BVB were trying very hard to turn his head in demanding to be sold to them. We all know they will only lowball us. It was a good time to get him out of BVB for long term plans. It would different if they would pay a fair price for him.
