I would take Eden back if: 1. Real give us him for free like they did with James to Everton. 2. He takes huge pay cut. 3. He accepts to be 4th choice winger after Ziyech, CHO and Pulisic. All this is never going to happen.

I criticized him heavily at the beginning of last season and blamed him for a lot of goals we conceded but in the last around 12 months he improved his game massively. He was by far our best CB in this period. This season that bad pass for Kepa was his only mistake, before that I think his last bad game was Everton last December. Dont get me wrong, we can upgrade on him on the market but Zouma > Rudi, Chris, Tomori without a doubt. I mean, play him with Chris he would probably look like shit again but it is just that he works very nicely with Rudi or Silva (still did not conceded a goal with these combos in 8 games). And if my CBs give me clean sheet that is all I care for. That means we have to score just once to win the game and we have so much offensive potential right now.

Tiredness cannot be excuse. Silva, James, Kante, Mount, Pulisic will start and they did not start last game. Probably Giroud/Abraham too and Mendy is GK. Ziyech worked on his fitness a lot and he just had his first start. Kova also did not play a lot and I think Jorginho will not start. I feel like German boys wont start either. So Chilwell is the only one who may be tired with Zouma but than again would not be surprised if Zouma is also rested here.

Bad form last season explained...

We scored 4 but that was not a good offensive performance. 1st and 4th goal should have been saved by GK easily. Our second goal was not a penalty tbf. So that Pulisic, Werner, Ziyech action for the 3rd goal was best thing all game.

He will still play a lot but now he will finally have status he deserves. He was way overplayed last season. This season first 5 games Mount played: 90, 90, 90, 90, 90. Last 5 games: 0, 72, 62, 18, 19. This is something I can accept. Also all the hate for him will disappear because no one has anything against him, people were just annoyed because of the way Frank treated him. As shown again today, he had no business starting over CHO as a winger. He is not a winger, he is not a AM. Number 8 is his best position so if we do move to 4-3-3 again he would play more and be more effective. But what about Kai? He is best in the final third of the pitch and number 8 is not really his position. Ziyech would be good there too.

Same situation like last season. He was close to leave last January but I think when market opens in two months again he will leave especially with Euro coming. With Werner around he won't get a chance.
