@Jype since you have great knowledge about FFP and how money is amortized, I remember you putting exact numbers for these long contracts and how great for FFP is to sell academy products, can you explain where we would be post summer if next happens: With Enzo our spending will be around 600m euros just this season. Lets say we buy Felix for 80m in the summer and GK for 20m. So 700m 😂 We got 55,60m last summer and possibly we sell plenty more in the summer like KK, Azpi, Ziyech, Auba, Lukaku... Wont bother how much can we get for them but my main question is since academy players are pure profit what would mean to us if this summer we get for example 20m instalment from Roma for Abraham, 20-30 for Chalobah, RLC 15-20, Ampadu 10-15m, Cho 20-25, Gallagher or Mount 35-50m. So most likely way over 100m pounds maybe even 150m just for our academy boys and with new players signing 7,8,9 years long contracts how would that reflect on the books?

I also dont expect as to go for striker. If Felix is hit this season we will buy him. Add Nkunku and Havertz. City looked better team without typical number 9 and Liverpool as well. In fact, if we get Enzo now we are pretty much set for many, many years except some cosmetic changes. Players with one year left on contract are usually half the price than if they have let's say 3 or 4 years. If Enzo doesn't have rc and is one year left on contract he would also be max 50m.

That's because I don't see the difference between Mount now and in previous 3 seasons. To have exactly the same season as previous one he just needs a little bit of stat padding against 3,4 worst teams in the league latter in the season and that's it. Player of the season number 3. About Conor would still give him more time but if he continues like in last 6 months obviously he would not reach expectations. But again 4th or 5th choice in MF so no damage, Mount is playing every game.

No, I think 35-40 also. But keep in mind that we need homegrown players. Also Conor would earn way more money than what Mount wants and is fine with squad role. Basically 4th or 5th choice in MF. So because of this we should keep him.

Don't forget selling academy players is best thing regarding FFP. Pure profit. We gonna get 20m instalment from Roma for Abraham this year. Mount, RLC and Chalobah on the way out. This is over 100m clean profit for players we don't need and are nowhere near good enough for starting 11. This can get us Enzo easily. When players are back fit we gonna have one full team not even making the bench. 5 days left. When we gonna sell/loan some players? Slonina, Hall, Fofana should go on loan, maybe even CC. RLC and Ziyech sold.
