That's genuinely a sad state of affairs' if someone not only made up the article, but fabricated Messi's quotes.
-
It's why I believe Giroud is very much a cup player. Both he and Tammy are streaky players but if we can learn from last season we can manage both fairly well.
-
Sheffield and even the international break shows that Kovacic shouldn't be limited to a holding role. Keep the 433
-
Predictable as in 34 goals in 13 games?
-
Nothing at the moment suggests that. It's difficult watching CHO play as its incredibly predictable. He gets the ball, holds on to it for 5 seconds, then recycles it. Until he builds the confidence to actually make runs behind defenders or to take players on, he'll continue being considered the most over hyped youth player on the planet.
-
You honestly can't go a day without slating Mount. Until CHO actually displays the confidence to take players on and make runs behind the back line instead of holding the ball ala Willian, he'll get no minutes and deservingly so.

He wasn't mysteriously dropped! Again, Tammy tends to start off the season very well and his mobility make him more appropriate in Lampard's system. This isn't some devil's work at play here as you make it out to be. It's also quite amusing how Deschamps continues to say to the public Giroud needs more minutes, yet he continues to not only select him for the national team, but starts him again and again. He will be France's ST come the summer. Willing to put my house on it. So we have to add the inability to read along with your inability to analyse performances neutrally? Tammy Abraham [77] - 8/10 Abraham set up Hakim Ziyech's first goal with a neat lay-off on the edge of the box. His hold-up play was superb on the whole and acted as a target man against a physical Burnley defensive line https://www.si.com/soccer/chelsea/ The issue here is that I believe Giroud will get minutes whereas you don't think he will. My mind escapes past agendas and subjective view points that only relate to matters of what's going on right now. That's what you've beautifully displayed this entire conversation. I look at the grand scheme of things. Starting Saturday, we have a game every 3 days until March. Nearly 5 months. Adding to the fact this is such a congested schedule, injuries are likely to occur. Not only injuries, but contracting Covid. Tammy is also notoriously known for slowing down towards the latter stages. There are a wide variety of factors as to why Giroud will undoubtedly be needed.

Sitting at home doing nothing. What a tediously condescending argument. If you want to argue the concept of morality, let's first discuss the notion of honoring a contract your employer pays you handsomely for. Again, you are flat out lying. Why are you doing this? What are you gaining? Anyone who's watched Tammy's performances this season, without an agenda, can see he's improved on his overall hold up play. Since according to you I can't "critically watch the game" what ever that means, look at Tammy's ratings for both Burnley and Newcastle. Tammy Abraham [77] - 8/10 Abraham set up Hakim Ziyech's first goal with a neat lay-off on the edge of the box. His hold-up play was superb on the whole and acted as a target man against a physical Burnley defensive line Tammy Abraham - 8/10 Netted Chelsea's equaliser with a cool finish into the bottom corner. Another all-round brilliant performance from the Blues forward. https://www.si.com/soccer/chelsea/ It's not subjective when you take into account we play every 3 days starting this weekend, until March..... Did that put some perspective or is that still 'subjective thinking'? Here's another one. Imagine we sold Giroud last January when he wanted to leave. There's no way we would've finished Top 4. He will be needed. It's an inevitability. You literally posted your frustration and asked why Tammy got ahead of Giroud in the pecking order. Virtually no one but yourself made that argument. Yes you praised Tammy but then immediately undermined him by saying Giroud would of been shining had he been given that same time. It's clear as day you have an issue why Giroud isn't starting. Had you been in charge last January and sold Giroud out of "sympathy", we would of finished 6th last season Your argument to Roman ; "Who cares we didn't finish Top 4 and who cares we jeopardized our season and the long term financial stability of the club. None of that matters because Giroud was sad. I sold him to be happy. That's the real victory here." How old are you?
-
This is a new season. Tammy tends to perform well in the early phase of the season, as we are seeing now and as we saw last year. There are clear differences between Tammy and Giroud, and when you see the football we play at our very best, it's understandable as to why Lampard wants a more mobile forward to make runs and press the opposition back line vs a target man. FFS that's even why we bought Werner. You are flat out lying about the hold up play bit. If there's anything Tammy has improved massively on, it's his hold up and link up play. Look at Burnley and Sheffield as examples. Both are two shitehouses and we didn't need Giroud and his world class hold up play. You want to sell him out of respect even if it means our season being potentially jeopardized? Are you for real? I would expect Giroud to honor his contract and to be a professional during these circumstances. Something he's been doing this entire time. He'll get plenty of game time this season, especially with injuries and the fact Tammy slows down towards the latter stages of the season. It seems only you and the mad man Deschamps are bothered by the fact Giroud isn't starting for us.
-
Simply put, Lampard's system works better with a mobile and fast ST. I see no issues with Tammy at the moment so the outcry for Giroud to start is just bizarre. Having two strikers who offer something different is a great asset to have and until Tammy starts showing a bit of poor form, something that is completely expected, then it would be beneficial to use Giroud. Your second sentence is just confusing. We should give in and jeapordise our season by selling Giroud in January as a thank you memento for him?
-
Ronaldo was probably asymptomatic. Those who aren't and contract Covid say they found themselves fatigued and lost stamina after they recovered.
-
But is this Giroud FC or Chelsea FC? Our spending this summer is highly dependent on the club finishing Top 4. Werner gets injured and/or Tammy gets COVID, we are fucked. This is an incredibly congested season and Giroud will get plenty of time considering rotation and injuries. Plus, Dechamps continues to say Giroud needs playing time, yet he continues to select and start him every game? Virtually nothing suggests he won't pick Giroud for the Euros as things stand.
-
In these current conditions, we'd be mad to sell. Sorry Olivier, club needs you until the end of the season. Virtually no way he will lose his place at the Euro's, despite the bollocks Dechamps says.
-
He also unselfishly set up several goals this season through his link of play.
-
Dreadful attitude? Tammy worked his bollocks off and deservingly found his place in the lineup. The major criticism he had last year he's seemed to improve on. Hold up and link up.
-
Just saw England's recent training video and Chilwell looks completely fine. Still, will be absolutely fuming if he plays tonight.
-
Just hoping he's back for Spurs.
-
Mendy James--Rudiger--Zouma--Chilwell Kante Kovacic---Mount Ziyech----------------------Werner Tammy
-
Only against certain opposition. Kovacic against he likes of Newcastle or Burnley would be utterly pointless.
-
Took an unauthorized trip to Dubai and the club (Arsenal) are fuming. Needs to test negative before he can return back. Gift that keeps on giving.
-
Far, far too late for that. It's now at a point where if he plays, he's guaranteed an error. Lampard and his staff are statistics obsessive, and they very well know that Kepa is statistically the worse keeper in Europe's top 5 leagues. We will be lucky to get 25% of what we paid for him.
-
Football.London claiming Chilwell should be fine for this. Mendy James--Rudiger--Zouma--Chilwell Kante Havertz--Mount Ziyech-------------------Werner Tammy
-
Good thing this isn't a Hazard and Willian scenario where our only threat is our left side.... Dave at LB is a must for me. Werner at LW, Tammy up top and Ziyech at RW. Havertz should be back as well which is a major boost. Rudiger for me. Newcastle are Tier 1 shithouses, so anything they get will be likely off a set piece.
-
We can’t have any liabilities defensively at the moment. Alonso ruined his chance with that atrocious display against West Brom. Willing to sacrifice our attack for Dave at LB for the time being.
