  1. Always felt our communication and relationship with Monaco, particularly with Tchou, had us as clear favorites.
  2. Barca are probably offering some insane signing bonus though. And I think the long term plan is to have Christensen alternate between RCB and CB, to then inevitably take over Thiago Silva at CB. He's arguably at his best as the sweeper. Again, other than Marquinhos, I can't see any CB at the moment who would slot right in. And this isn't considering if our new owners will likely spend massive amounts this summer. Our safest bet is to keep Christensen.
  3. Not according to Matt Law. In the London is Blue podcast back in September, he stated Christensen was ready to sign until his agent intervened.
  4. Because his agent got in his ear. It's never to late to offer what he wants. Far as I'm concerned, there is no CB out there bar Marquinhos who I would trust to come and slot right in. If Christensen or Rudiger, or both leave next summer we are going to be weaker.
  5. 1. Tuchel 2. Rudiger 3. Christensen 4. Stadium plans and continuing academy investment.
  6. I hope Rudiger's and Christensen's agents are whispering in their ear to hold off on signing with anyone else until the new owners come and see what they offer.
  7. Looks like the Ricketts-Griffin bid is expected to to meet the 3bn asking price.
  8. You'd think it was Carragher writing that. Sincerely hope we batter them.
  9. Starting to think we should rotate tonight instead of Boro.... Their players, fans, and the entire world will be up for a victory.
  10. They have every right to decline our proposal but you'd think it was Carragher that wrote that. Hope we batter them now.
  11. Whole world going to back Boro now for an upset.
  12. Saudi Media Group seem to be more progressive than the norm in their country. Think I read they had the highest Women employment rate at their company. That being said, I would genuinely laugh my arse off if they bought us, had the same spending power as Roman, and has zero ties to the regime. The Arsenal fans reaction would be priceless.
  13. To be honest, I agree with the UK government analysing the company as a whole, with regards to funding and private ownership links to the regime. Genuinely only a matter of time until Newcastle, PSG, and City are down the same route as us.
  14. Probably too good to be true should Saudi Media Group have no ties to the state.
  15. Chelsea have discouraged "politically sensitive" parties from bidding for the club but Saudi Media does not believe it falls into that category. Unlike Newcastle United – who are now owned by the Saudi Arabian state via the Public Investment Fund – Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain, Saudi Media is an entirely private entity with no direct ties to a particular ruler or government. https://www.goal.com/en-my/news/saudi-media-Chelsea-takeover-bid-keep-rudiger-rebuild/blt3867c8c4c58996a9
  16. Leonardo is the biggest problem at PSG
  17. The man is worth under a billion, isn't he?
  18. Conference league or bust for them. Arsenal are going to be well over their heads next season with their altered expectations.
  19. And moments earlier Kante ignored playing a ball having Werner through. Graeme Le Saux - "wHY dOnT tHEy pAsS tO wEnER?"
  20. Everyone try and imagine had it been Werner or Lukaku in that same scenario. 😂 The ball would of shanked off Werner's shin and out for a goal kick, whilst simultaneously be called offsides. Lukaku's first touch would of had the ball clear over the bar.
  21. Think our whole outlook on new transfers is up in the air. Only those for certain are Broja and Gallagher (I hope Tuchel uses them)
  22. Drank my coffee during that and literally almost choked when I saw that.
