  1. KdB Fucking Mou tried to force him to be a winger and now, 9 and a half years after he was properly switched to AMF, the very next year and a half at VfL Wolfsburg:
  2. Behdad Eghbali stepped in late and big daddied the Boehly shenanigans, after talking to the old head billionaire Hansjörg Wyss and also the other Clearlake big boy, José Feliciano. Eghbali and Feliciano are no jokes. They co-founded Clearlake with another young quant, Steven Chang, and when Chang was getting too big for his britches they forced him out. He went on to found a much smaller (compared to the massive Clearlake) investment firm, Allomer Capital Group.
  3. has Eintracht come down from the €100m demand for Kolo? same price as Atalanta is (or was) crazily demanding for Rasmus Højlund
  4. the poison dwarf says €180m or no deal and he is a fucking cunt to deal with like I said I think PSG get Osimhen after they sell Mbappe unless they do a Vini Jr (plus maybe some cash) for Mbappe swapperoo and even then, PSG may well go for Osimhen, at which point we should make a hard play for the superb LB Nuno Mendes (to help them raise cash for the buy) and sell CuCu to the Saudis
  5. but at £21.5m, Mamardashvili is an absolute steal
  6. watch us cock it up I am starting to get a wee bit worried IF we think we are not going to buy him we should deffo go HARD for Nicolò Barella
  7. Cancelo is poison and turns 30yo at the end of this coming season
  8. and Trevoh may be sold if the right offer comes in in which case we DEFFO need a right footed CB plus this is probably Thiago's last season with us (inless he does stay until he turns 40, like he said a while back, to equal Maldini playing at 40) Ronald Araújo (pipe dream, but hey, wth, lol) António Silva Giorgio Scalvini (probably the next great Italian CB) Bremer Robin Le Normand José María Giménez (last season on my list, he turns 30 in the middle of the next season after this one, plus is/was often injured in his prime years) Jean-Clair Todibo Mohamed Simakan Pierre Kalulu (might not be up to the physicality of the EPL) Perr Schuurs (Napoli want him to replace Kim Min-jae, who turned down Manure for Bayern yesterday, Klopp wants him too) Nathan Collins (best of the available HG CBs) Nicolò Casale (Sarri has turned him into a beast at Lazio) Ilya Zabarnyi (monitoring him at Bournemouth) Malick Thiaw Taylor Harwood-Bellis (if Citeh sells him) Anel Ahmedhodzic (the new top Swedish CB soon) Merih Demiral Josip Sutalo ( after Gvardiol, er haps the next great Croatian CB) Leny Yoro (17yo potential monster)
  9. 8 more Håland De Bruyne Firmino Leroy Sane Aubameyang Ilkay Gundogan Dimitar Berbatov (122 goals in 7 and a half seasons) Ballack
  10. YES! wtf I SO want Noni to blow up at RW there are only 2 left footed or ambipedal RWers out there who actually truly excite me (the ambidedal Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is almost exclusively a Left Winger) and both are HARD pulls Ousmane Dembélé (ambipedal) Karim Adeyemi let footed, and he blew up after switching to RW from LW also Mohammed Kudus is a lefty, but is more of an AMF type, although Poch could, I am sure get him up and running on the RW I am not that sold on Moussa Diaby atm, as he had only 1 goal (against a shambolic Hertha Berlin side) in his last 11 league games and he was completely shut down by Mou's Roma (as was Wirtz, who looked clueless) when Neverkusen crashed out in the Europa League semis
  11. keepers that I would take over Kepa all day long (NOT saying we should buy some of these btw) : Thibaut Courtois Ederson Jan Oblak Alisson Gianluigi Donnarumma Marc-André ter Stegen Diogo Costa Giorgi Mamardashvili Mike Maignan Gregor Kobel André Onana Emiliano Martínez Anatoliy Trubin Robert Sánchez Manuel Neuer Nick Pope Alex Meret Matvey Safonov Guglielmo Vicario Odysseas Vlachodimos Bono Dominik Livakovic
  12. I would not exactly call this a decline starting post 2005/06 17 trophies in 15 years including 3 EPL titles, 2 CLs, the UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup global championship and also we made the CL final in 2008 (Terry Moscow slip, arffff) and the FIFA Club World Cup final in 2012 (FSW choke job, arffff) and probably would have won the CL in 2009 (and likely another world club championship and Super Cup) if not for Tom Henning Øvrebø fucking us in the batty crease with with the worst major ref job ever (versus Barca in the semis, who went onto to smash Manure in the final, just like they did again in 2011) First Division/Premier League 3 2009–10, 2014–15, 2016–17 FA Cup 5 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2011–12, 2017–18 Football League Cup/EFL Cup 2 2006–07, 2014–15 FA Charity Shield/FA Community Shield 1 2009 Continental UEFA Champions League 2 2011–12, 2020–21 UEFA Europa League 2 2012–13, 2018–19 UEFA Super Cup 1 2021 Worldwide FIFA Club World Cup 1 2021
  13. When they are 80 years old they both will have their balls at their feet (or at least at their knees) #saggyoldmen
  14. Manuel Ugarte and Milan Skriniar are two of the 6 as he was whingeing about PSG's signings which is pretty crazy if he is ripping them I would LOVE to have both!!! When it looked like we were actually going to buy Ugarte I did a deeper dive and it mitigated my concerns about his rashness and we all know I am a huge Skriniar fangirl I think he is one of the top right footed CBs on the planet atm
  15. they said which is why I thought Gus Poyet
  16. bullshit if you truly think that, why are you even posting here? according to you we are a ruint club
  17. I am much more angered over the fact we dropped £118m on him. If he was just a Emerson/Baba/Zappacosta level buy, then not so much.
  18. No, people are just surgically dissecting your positings and you don't like being challenged over your hagiographic revisionism along with your near doomsday level pessimism for the present and future. simples We have all (or almost all) have had massive goes at Boehly, when he WAS FUCKING UP, but atm we truly seem to have turned the ship around, and more than a bit. Steep learning curve, but it is ludicrous to say the club is destroyed atm. IF Boehly had not hired any actual football directors, and attempted to run it all himself (along with the Clearlake lads), then yes, I can envision how the club would be destroyed, but the bloke is not a fool, he is a damn sharp businessman with previous sporting experience who is learning the footballing world, and in that learning curve he resigned as Sporting Director 7 months ago. to paraphrase: Rome wasn't destroyed (or set up to be entering a decline cycle of several years in our club's case) in a day, and it won't be rebuilt in one either. We had enough good inertia built up over 17 years to wrench out another CL win and finally win the World Club championship (and the Super Cup for the first time under Roman), but the club was massively fraying at the seams, starting with the UK Home Office denying Roman his visa years ago, which lead him to pulling the plug (heartbreakingly) on that monster new incredible 'Gothic stone temple to football' stadium. Combine that with some horrific contract management and too many shambolic buys, and the writing portending a decline was already etched upon the wall. Almost all the monster clubs who were monsters when Roman bought us (so remove Citeh and PSG) have had (or are having) issues. Barca Juve Pool ( a long period of decline after they scaped their CL in 2005, until Klopp came) Manure (they have been a trophy wreck overall since Fergie left and if not for Moscow and Terry's slip, they would be on a 25 straight year run of no CL finals wins, and ONE in the last 56 years, and only TWO ever 'best team on the planet' claims in 146 years of football, and that is even being generous, as they lost the 1968 Intercontinental Cup over 2 legs to Estudiantes (led by the great MFer Juan Ramón Verón, Juan Sebastián Verón's father) following their first CL/EC win in 1968) Arse (on the rise now after a LONG period of massive decline) AC Milan Inter Ajax was already no longer a top massive club anymore when Roman bought us. Plus Bayern almost lost the league, and are not remotely close to the machine that won the CL in a trot a few years back. One of the 2 new monsters, PSG have never won the CL and are in a hot mess with Mbappe, Neymar etc atm,, and lost Messi. I do suspect they fix themselves, but nothing is guaranteed, especially that first CL (look how long it took Citeh). Only the other new monster (Citeh) is riding high (as in top of the heap), along with Real Madrid (if they freshen it up and make smart buys, which they very likely will). Even Real had two massive gaps between being the top club on the planet. 32 years (from 1966 to 1998) with no CL final win, and then, after winning it 3 out of 5 years (1998, 2000 (and they and Manure were hammered in the 2000 FIFA World Club Cup, neither even made the final, the only two European teams ever to not even make the final), and 2002) 12 more drought years (2002 to 2014) as well, despite INSANE Galactico spending in the noughties whilst chasing La Décima.
