  1. https://football-observatory.com/WeeklyPost464 The 464th CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post presents the outfield footballers whose performances have had the greatest impact during the 2023/24 season in 54 leagues around the world. The impact score was calculated by taking into account players’ performances in six areas of the game, domestic league minutes and results. The highest value for any position was recorded for Manchester City's Spaniard midfielder Rodri. Another midfielder, Switzerland's Granit Xhaka of German champions Bayer Leverkusen, comes second. For the other positions, the highest impact scores were measured for Portuguese Rúben Dias among centre backs, his teammate Kyle Walker among full backs, Germany’s Florian Wirtz among attacking midfielders, England's Bukayo Saka among wingers, as well as Argentina’s Lautaro Martínez among centre forwards. Outside the big-5, the highest impact values per position were measured for Olivier Boscagli of Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven for centre backs, Saud Abdulhamid of the Saudi side Al-Hilal for full backs, his teammate Sergej Milinković-Savić for defensive or central midfielders, Rafa Silva of Benfica for attacking midfielders, Johan Bakayoko of PSV for wingers, as well as Viktor Gyökeres of Sporting CP for strikers.. Impact Score ranking, by league Domestic league matches, season 2023/24 until 14/05/2024.
  2. I for one never wanted Sterling here especially at that crazy transfer price and insane contract wage
  3. he will likely want a 3 year contract, IF he would even come, meaning he turns 35 a week after it runs out (so has basically zero value)
  4. Ortega is arguably the best backup keeper on the planet he has shown me that much over the season
  5. come on Sheffield U!!!!!!!! lololol we still have a chance at FIFTH
  6. I sort of take that back Citeh would only trail Arse by 2 in GD if they drew West Ham are horrific in defence, and Everton are far more solid and if they tied on poinst and GD, citeh would almost for sure win on more goals scored (they would be +3 if they drew)
  7. it makes sense they are glad Son missed as there is almsot no way they would have went on to win and so they would have still lost out on CL to Villa AND given Arse (more than likely) the title
  8. barring a Moyes miracle, that is 4 in a row for the first time ever in English football
  9. that pretty much wraps up the title
  10. wow, cannot believe Son did not score there
  11. now Ederson is fucked up this looks more serious, stretcher out
  12. now Ederson is fucked up this looks more serious, stretcher out
  13. oh motherfucker, De Bruyne looks really injured (meaning if he cannot go in the FA Cup final, Citeh's chances go down)
  14. Citeh have only lost once in their last 80 EPL games where they scored first
  15. 90% likely Villa grab CL from Spuds now (a draw means Villa get it, only a Spuds win takes it to the last day)
  16. one win in 7 games v top 5 teams this season for Citeh
  17. Pep, in his entire career, has only twice failed to win whatever league he was in.
