Gilmour has star potential and Juan Familio-Castillo hopefully in a few years is finally a left back we have been needing oyr academy to produce for ages (assuming that is not Jay Dasilva, who is sooooo short).

or start Barks and bring him on at 60 or 70 minutes

What part of Alisson turned us down is unclear? I love Kepa Same for Rudiger Kante RLC the Jorginho of late (he has really come on at the end) CHO Ampadu and hopefully soon Pulisic (yes I have been a sceptic, but he is now ours so I hope he blows up) and Reece James I also hope Fikayo Tomori, Jay Dasilva, Mason Mount, Trevoh Chalobah, Dujon Sterling, Tammy, and Clarke-Salter come good someday (odds are very low they all make the cut) due to bans we may have to call back Mario Pašalić (I am the only one who thinks this I am fairly sure), Happy (absolutely), Bakayoko (call me insane but I still think, given the right role and coaching he can be a beast, just probably not here), and Morata (eeeek), Ola Aina (if Torino is persuaded to not buy him, and we could then ABSOLUTELY sell Zappacosta now) and maybe even Bats (eeeeeek) (at least for 2019-20, then if they are still meh, sell sell sell) anyone not listed (and even some of those as well) are going to have to be liquidated eventually (unless, and I have my doubts, AC keeps improving) Yes, that includes Azpi, his only true place now is as a reserve (or starting in a pinch CB, he is simply not good enough at RB in our system) Moses, Kenedy, Musonda, and Baba are hopeless, the rest of the loan army are dregs (what disappointments Kasey Palmer, Lewis Baker, Izzy Brown, and Matt Miazga have turned out to be)

the only way Coutinho makes sense is as a LW, but there are much better values out there he will cost over £100m hard pass I am sticking with my original 4 LWer targets (now 3 as Thorgan Hazard is going to Borussia Dortmund) Hirving Lozano, , then Ismaïla Sarr, then Ante Rebic, maybe add Steven Bergwijn of PSV (zeo chance they can keep both him and Lozano) as the new 4th IF we had REALLY big jacobs, and IF they sell him do to his refusal to sign new contract I would go all out for Leroy Sane even BIGGER (as in biggest player in the world) make a move for Mbappe (he plays mostly CF now) next summer (we would HAVe to have CL in 2020-21 ZERO chance Roman drops £250-£300m plus £500 to 600K PW salary to grab him though finally a future forward option Rodrygo, another superstar 18yo LW Brasilian is now with Real Madrid I do not see how they can keep all those LWers (Vinícius Júnior, Asensio, and even Isco plays ere at times, PLUS now Rodrygo??) maybe prise out either Vinícius Júnior or Rodrygo (hard pass on the other two, and Isco is an AMF mainly anyway) it all will depend who is left in summer 2020 when we can buy again plus there is CHO to sort out I would be over the moon with our 4 wingers as LW Lozano LW CHO RW Nicolas Pepe (but he will be sold this summer) RW Pulisic all but Pepe can play ether wing as well, so very versatile we really fucked up by turning down the £175m for Eden last summer and then buying Ousmane Dembele (Barca would have taken only £100 to 110m or so, now I so doubt they sell him) We also could have ramrodded though a Willian plus £20m or so offer to Manure for Martial when Mo was still there, now there is zero chance as well. The numpty board is probably in middle of offering the cunt a 3 or 4 year extension, now that Luiz has broken our no multiyears for 30-somethings hard rule

£30-million price tag won’t put Napoli off move for Celtic star Kieran Tierney https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/30-million-price-tag-wont-put-napoli-off-move-for-celtic-star-kieran-tierney/ Former Napoli star Salvatore Bagni has urged Carlo Ancelotti to make a summer swoop for Kieran Tierney. Celtic and Scotland defender Tierney is due to go under the knife following the Scottish Cup Final in a fortnight’s time for double hernia surgery. However, neither that, nor the Hoops’ £30-million valuation of the 21-year-old, is likely to put off a host of would-be buyers, who believe Tierney has the potential to keep improving, much as Andy Robertson has done at Liverpool. It is understood recent reports of Inter Milan interest are wide of the mark, but that Champions League qualifiers Napoli and their manager Ancelotti are admirers of Tierney’s ability and athleticism. Bagni, a team-mate of Diego Maradona in the Napoli side which won the Serie A title for the first team in the club’s history in 1986-87, believes it is a situation to watch. “Having followed the player for years, I think Tierney would be a great buy for Napoli, and wouldn’t be surprised if a deal was to happen,” said the former Italian internationalist, now a pundit in his homeland. “Napoli are a team which is always associated with attacking football, and Ancelotti’s first thought is to send his players out to get goals. “In particular, he loves full-backs whose main strength lies in going forward. “In this regard, Tierney would be perfect for their left side. He has it all. Great drive, pace, technique and high-quality delivery. “For me, those assets would allow him to do well in Naples – and if he comes to Italy, I will be able to say I was among the first to focus on him.” Competition for the player is sure to be fierce, with Arsenal having been strongly linked with him all season. Celtic, too, regardless of who is in charge of the side next season, will also be desperate to hold on to a talent who, having graduated from the academy, has already made 100 appearances for the first-team and is viewed as the future captain for years to come. While Tierney will feature in the Cup Final before going under the knife, the decision of Timothy Weah to snub the showpiece in favour of playing for the US in the Under-20s World Cup has cut short his loan stay at Celtic. The 19-year-old admits he will be “devastated” to miss playing in today’s derby against Rangers, but has the consolation of knowing he has at least managed to do one thing in the game the President of Liberia failed to do. “When I signed here, my dad (George, the aforementioned President and a former World Player of the Year and African Player of the Century) told me that the atmosphere was great,” said Weah Jnr. “He said that it was crazy here and that he would have loved to play for Celtic. “And, of course, lots of people know about Celtic-Rangers. It is one of the most-historic derbies in world football. It is up there with the best. “So to miss out on playing in this game, I am devastated. “It is the one I’ve been looking forward to since I joined Celtic. I would have love to be involved. “I watched from the bench last time was amazing, a crazy experience.”

Look at him now: Ex-Leeds prodigy who turned to a life of crime https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/features/look-at-them-now/look-at-him-now-robert-bayly-and-leeds-united/ Football can be a ruthless sport at times, it really can. When we turn up on Saturdays to watch our favourite players strut their magic, we don’t give much thought to the many thousands of players who dreamt of the moment they would step out onto the turf of their respective stadiums to the sound of their name reverberating around the terraces, only for it to never happen for one reason or another. Indeed, we rarely consider the anonymous majority who never realised their dream, and the fact that every moment they spend after being dumped from the cruel grasp of the sport is as painful as last, as they recount the moment their ambitions slips through their fingers like water through cracks in the floor. For Leeds prodigy Robert Bayly this harsh reality was all too relatable. snip We say that because, following a string of ten transfers around the Irish domestic leagues, Bayly was jailed for two-and-a-half years in March 2018 for transporting almost €200,000 worth of cannabis across Ireland. Yes, that’s right – Bayly went from “child prodigy” to a wannabe Pablo Escobar in a matter of ten years. The former Republic of Ireland youth international claimed that he had pursued a life of crime because of a gambling addiction that had been harrowing him since joining Leeds all those years ago, and while we have no reason not to believe that, we can’t help but wonder if their were greater forces at power to leave him in such a state. snip

if those Scouse cunts win the double (or even just the CL) and Manure does take him, lolol, the first game back at Scamfield will be glorious, he will get so much stick every time he touches the ball it will be deafening

Barca STILL wants him, just at a shed load less (around £35-40m) than the £65m that was their final offer last summer we are stuck with him due to the bans and injuries (with Eden out and Puli in, that still leaves only Willian and Pedro as our only 3 healthy wingers)
