You should think about banning politics talk in a football forum, has nothing to do with football and at best just makes people dislike each other over views no one in a football forum should be discussing.

I don't think this team is as good as the CL winning team yet, but I believe with good coaching and a set way of playing instead of just throw the kitchen sink at it, this team has the potential to be alot better, agree with enzos goal ratio, I don't think Enzo is anywhere near worth the hype or the money especially what I've seen so far, hopefully he proves me wrong, and as far for caicedo if he takes on the destroyer role and gets more assists I don't mind how many goals he scores, kovacic for me did neither, good said player, very good dribbling ability but left me thinking is that it.

Buying youngster is a tactic for 3 or 4 seasons away not 1 or 2, we won't truly know if this works for atleast 2 or 3 more seasons. I don't agree with every buy but I definitely agree with the way we are going.

Ok so we won a champions league in 2021, I'm talking about domestic league as we ain't even in the CL ATM, but what is better for me is we are going away from buying players past there prime or "absolute ballers from a farmers league" then going mental when they flop here. We won't be a development club, you don't spend 1 billion to be a development club, you spend that to get the old out and hit the reset button, about time this club was ran like a business because with these FFP rules something has to give, we also can't buy every young talent in the world either. If we can get the blend right and hopefully we have the right manager now, we have a team full of fearless kids, which will mature into decent potentially some of them world class, problem is it won't happen overnight or over the course of a few seasons.

But that won't happen now, clubs not buying these "top" players every transfer window is the same and yet no one is getting the fact that isn't happening anymore, and we didn't need a top striker or a top CB, what we need is guidance and a clear way to defend and attack, we can't keep buying playing to fill a gap that won't fit the system any more doesn't work. Jackson got 14 goals in his first season, Palmer was immense caicedo finally started to click, we have fofana Reece nkunku and lavia coming back into the squad that's like 4 new signings there alone! What ever happend to giving a player a season to settle into a new league and a new culture? Or is it only Chelsea fans that believe that isn't a thing anymore.

TBF, we can't use the manager as an excuse then demand better players, if the reports are true and we worked on zero tactics just hard work, no wonder we got battered in the back and toothless in attack.
