I know he can play the role but do you seriously think he would be used as one if he'd join us. Doubt it.. Save the number for a true striker. The number has already been 'damaged' by giving it to the likes of Sidwell and Di Santo.. P.S, I wouldn't call him a winger as he hardly sticks to side like real wingers do. Ohw how i've enjoyed Brazil's game. My my my. Thats the way football should be played. It would make the world a much happier place . Just look at all the Brazilian players smiling after they rape their direct opponents. Dunga tried to murder real Brazilian football. Hoepfully the new coach will restore it. Neymar was great and he would be a great buy. But boy is he skinny, his shirt was two times his size . Chelsea should've made a second bid before he made his debut. His price just went up a few mil. Ramires and Luiz also played well. If it wasn't for his ridiculous price, he would be a great buy. Pacey defender with great footballing skills. Also very comfortable at right back. Why not offer Benfica Kalou and Ferreira + 15-18 mil for Luiz . Sell Alex, also known as Injury Man, and let Iva and Luiz fight for the place next to Terry (or maybe even give Terry a good fight for his starting position). Everybody happy .

Almost forgot. Werder have already denied reports about Barcelona and Werder reaching an agreement and they said Barca haven't even made a bid. Özil was also surprised by the news and has denied any (personal) agreements with Barcelona. Good news for us if we're interested. Really hope we are.

Not true. His contract expires next year and he has publicly admitted he won't extend his contract. He's not gonna cost more than €15 mil. Great price for a great player with unbelievable potential. Gourlay made it clear that there's money available and if Ancelotti wants to sign a player (Özil in this case), Chelsea will go for him. No crazy prices though but that's not the case with Özil. Don't know about the market power though, they do have the club popularity in their favor.

Would be a great signing. We desperately need a skillful playmaking AM and he isn't even expensive. Every big club in need of AM would be foolish not to try signing him. If Chelsea really want him, they should make a bid fast. With us, he's practically guaranteed a spot in the first XI. His only competition for the AM role would be Benayoun and he's not Chelsea first XI material. At Barcelona he would play second fiddle to Iniesta and Real have Kaka, Van der Vaart and Canales for the AM spot.

Drogba needs another two weeks to be fully fit so I wouldn't start him yet, too risky. That means Anelka will most likely start as CF. He's more CM than CF . We seriously lack creativity and skill in midfield so putting Malouda in midfield would really help our problem. Ancelotti's did it before so hoping he'll do it again, although he only did it because of injuries.No Kalou please . Only as a sub. I'll cry if he starts again. We weren't horrible but we weren't good enough. The lack of creativity in the final third really pained me. Tempo was just too low. We so desperately need a attacking midfielder/playmaker, especially if you want to play possesion football. Passes like the one Ess gave, those defence splitting passes are what we need. We just don't have anyone who gives passes like that regularly or at least tries to give passes like that. But for some reason, Ancelotti doesn't seem to be looking for that type of player. He did want Kaka and Pirlo at first. But Kaka isn't the same anymore and Pirlo is too old. So I was glad they didn't join us but I wish he'd look for another ''pass-master''. Hope Danny's performance and performances in pre-season finally convinced Ancelotti. Anelka and Kalou (especially Kalou) always get chosen over Sturridge and Kakuta without putting in convincing performances. Very sad. Danny seems like the first youngster who's stepping up and really really wants to play and give everything he's got. Hope Matic and Kakuta also get (a good amount of) chances and show us their potential. Nemanja's playmaking ability and Gaël's pacy dribbles are qualities we lack in the first XI. And last but not least, I hope that was Bruma's last performance as a RB. It's just not his position. Mancienne is the one that should be played there, he has the experience of playing that role.

Terry's consistency has dropped immensely. And he's getting slower, didn't know that was possible. Ivanovic is great. Paulo is doing alright. His crosses are impressive. Bring on Didier so he can head one in. Anelka's been frustating me since the second half of the 09/10. Just don't like transformation he's made. Kalou off for Kakuta please.

Totally agree. You can't play possesion football with this tempo. Man Utd just intercepts and use their greatest weapon, the counter attack.
