thats a bit disrespectful! telling him to coach the youth team then work his way up! he has already managed in the premier league so he has some experience under his belt, he would never want to come here and coach youth/reserve teams imo because he is better than that! he managed the italy u-21 and west ham so why does he need to coach youth teams?

i want these players out and replaced with one the following Hilario - Begovic Bosingwa - Van Der Wiel Malouda - Sanchez, Mata, Cazorla Kalou - Hamsik, Pastore, Sneijder, Ganso Anelka - Neymar, Aguero, Lukaku then if we had a team like this i think we would have a very successful season ........................................................Cech............................................... .....VDW...................Luiz/Alex/Ivan...........Terry.................A.Cole....... ...................................................Essien/Mikel....................................... .............................Ramires.................................Sneijder/Ganso......... .....Sanchez/Mata.........................Torres......................Aguero/Neymar.... Subs - Begovich, Ivanovich, Alex, Mikel, Lampard, Drogba, Sturridge i'd say Lampard should be used like how man u use scholes next season, just play him everyother week or just bring him on in matches, we should try out Drogba and torres in pre-season if it works then great, we would have to play 4-4--2 next season, if not then we need to bring someone in some skillful quick forwards i think to play either side of Torres or Drogba.

im not saying he is a bad buy, just put him in as i dont think any deserve to be put down as worst buy, so he got the short straw i guess

i think chelsea can win the champions league because we have stuggled when teams play very defensive tactics against us with two banks of four and stopping us playing then catching us on the break, but in the champions league knock out rounds you have to be more adventurous and attack teams and i think this could play into chelsea's hands with torres and his excellent movement playing on the shoulder of the last defender and Drogba with his power and ariel threat i can see us going all the way this year.
-
i have absolutley no worries about nando his movement is top class and its only a matter of time until he starts scoring, im 100% sure he will be a success at chelsea no doubts in my mind at all. exactly how i felt about Drogba in his first few seasons, he will be fine and will win many trophies at chelsea starting with this season!!! :champions:

Yes you read that right I still dont think we are out of it yet maybe not unitil March 7th anyway. In case you dont know Man united's next four games are all tough/tricky games, they are: Saturday, 12 February 2011 Man Utd v Man City Saturday, 26 February 2011 Wigan v Man Utd Tuesday, 1 March 2011 Chelsea v Man Utd Sunday, 6 March 2011 Liverpool v Man Utd whereas during this period of time Chelsea face Fulham (a), Man. u (h) and Blackpool (a) three games in which Chelsea can and must get 9 points from. All those games are tough games for united and I think they will drop points in three or four of those games. below i have put some senario's that have a relativley good chance to actually happen (if chelsea win there next three games) Senario 1 - A quite realistic and almost perfect senario for us would be for united to lose against Citeh, Chelsea and Liverpool and draw with Wigan (which is very possible based on the way they have played away from home this season) this would put us 1 point behind them with a game in hand, and still having to face them at old trafford. Senario 2 - if they beat Wigan and lose the other three it puts them 4 points ahead of us with chelsea having a game in hand to put it down to 1 point, and still having to face them at old trafford. Senario 3 - if they win two and lose against us and one other then it would put them 7 points ahead of us with chelsea having a game in hand to put it down to 4 points, and still having to face them at old trafford. Senario 4 - if they beat us or win at least three of those games then I think its over. I haven't even bothered maiking a senario where they lose all four because that would just be 'dreamland' for us. Also of course Citeh and Arsenal are still above us but I am not worried about Citeh as we have a game in hand over them and still have to face them at the bridge, so I think we will finish above them, and Arsenal always seem to bottle it and drop silly points, but for me Arsenal will be the hardest to catch as they have a easier next few games but Arsenal being Arsenal can always drop points when no on expects it (ask newcastle), and finally of course for us to have any chance we must go on a winning streak and win our next 5 or 6 games in a row because if we do that we will be very close to the top because I know the teams above us will drop points. Everyone just keep the faith, by around 10pm on March 7th we will know then if we have a real chance to win the league, trust me. KTBFFH

interetsing stats here for both players for CLUB AND COUNTRY make of it as you will, but for me there is no contest Lampard is alot better, but i just feel alot of people think gerrard is better because he stands out more than lampard but i think that its more down to the fact gerrard plays with alot of useess players so he would naturally look better than lampard who has been surrounded by world class players for years and still produces these stats that any striker in the world would be proud of let alone a midfelder. Frank Lampard 2009/10 - Goals: 30 Assists: 20 Yellow cards: 0 Red Cards: 0 = 80 2008/09 - Goals: 23 Assists: 19 Yellow cards: 4 Red Cards: 2 = 57 2007/08 - Goals: 22 Assists: 11 Yellow cards: 5 Red Cards: 1 = 48 2006/07 - Goals: 22 Assists: 15 Yellow cards: 8 Red Cards: 0 = 51 2005/06 - Goals: 23 Assists: 9 Yellow cards: 9 Red Cards: 0 = 46 2004/05 - Goals: 22 Assists: 16 Yellow cards: 8 Red Cards: 0 = 52 2003/04 - Goals: 20 Assists: 6 Yellow cards: 5 Red Cards: 0 = 41 2002/03 - Goals: 8 Assists: 2 Yellow cards: 3 Red Cards: 0 = 15 2001/02 - Goals: 7 Assists: 3 Yellow cards: 3 Red Cards: 1 = 12 Total - Goals: 177 Assists: 101 Yellow cards: 45 Red Cards: 4 = 402 points Steven Gerrard 2009/10 - Goals: 15 Assists: 12 Yellow cards: 9 Red Cards: 0 = 33 2008/09 - Goals: 25 Assists: 13 Yellow cards: 6 Red Cards: 0 = 57 2007/08 - Goals: 22 Assists: 17 Yellow cards: 6 Red Cards: 0 = 55 2006/07 - Goals: 14 Assists: 10 Yellow cards: 3 Red Cards: 0 = 35 2005/06 - Goals: 25 Assists: 11 Yellow cards: 4 Red Cards: 1 = 55 2004/05 - Goals: 15 Assists: 5 Yellow cards: 6 Red Cards: 0 = 29 2003/04 - Goals: 7 Assists: 7 Yellow cards: 3 Red Cards: 0 = 18 2002/03 - Goals: 9 Assists: 8 Yellow cards: 5 Red Cards: 1 = 19 2001/02 - Goals: 5 Assists: 0 Yellow cards: 8 Red Cards: 1 = 0 Total - Goals: 137 Assists: 83 Yellow cards: 50 Red Cards: 3 = 301 points * 2 points for a goal, 1 point for an assist, -1 for a yellow card, -2 for a red card

quick question, I need to pick my ticket up from the box office today do I only need my membership or do I need to bring anything else with me? I have never had to pick tickets up from the box office before, can anyone help?

even though carlo isn't going anywhre anytime soon i would like to see Zola, Hasselbaink and Di matteo in the dugout one day!
-
your first statement is debatable forlan looks like he is on the decline and many atletico fans rate Aguero higher than Forlan and comenting on aguero not being in the argentina starting XI is a bit harsh they have so many of the worlds best attacking players in their team (Messi, Milito, Higuian, Tevez, Di Maria ect) so its not exactly easy for him to get into the team.
-
what a shame he could be another Totti, good enough to play for any team in the world but chooses to play for only a decent team that will rarely win any major trophy, instead of playing for a world class team that challenges every season for major trophies. sigh oh well there are plenty more strikers out there.
-
i would prefer Breno tbh i think he has more potential than all of them
