you can bet that if that was Drogba (in his prime) in Cavani´s position he would have scored an hattrick against the gooners, Cavani to me is one of the biggest chokers out there, lacks the killer instinct in big games that he should have regularly, he could have finished Arsenal by himself today, but lacks the confidence, composure and killer instinct, shame because he´s a top striker on his day. He´s a mistery to me, on his day he can bully any defence and score goals, its great he has 4 goals in 4 games, exactly what you expect from your front man, but his attitude lets him down more often than not, already 3 yellow cards in 4 games and other team players will always try to wind him up and get him sent off, that´s something he will face every game and he takes the bait when he shouldn´t, and he should avoid complaining a lot to the referees, because it gives them the motivation to card Costa. We all love to hate him or else he wouldn´t be Costa, but only if he could focus on his game and not picking fights he would be even more class. Cheers

i agree, the signs were there and we almost paid the price, he only made changes on 76 min when we were 2-1 down, changes should have been made on the hour mark, but at the end of the day we didn´t lose which would have been a travesty, because we gifted Swansea those 2 goals. Cheers

he´s the reason we equalized, he created panic in the Swansea defence for Costas´s goal, but he should concentrate a lot more on his defending, attacking wise he´s done fine to be honest.

Lampard esque player badly missed here

Very sloppy performance, the team have to do much better, never should have allowed Swansea to score 2 goals, and 2 gift goals to be precise, what were Courtois and Cahill thinking ? wake the fark up for goodness sake. Hazard was sliping with ease, the pitch looked awful to be honest, but its no excuse, he looked like he didn´t care at times, he will take a bashing from Conte no doubt and so will the defenders, Costa should have made it 2-0 before half time, how did he manage to miss an open goal? anyway if it wasn´t for him we would have lost, Fabregas should have come on much sooner and Moses too, we looked slow on William´s side, Oscar was poor too, overall feels more like a point gained than a points lost, the most important thing is we didn´t lose, but we fail to catch City with this draw. basically what Spike said, he´s very fast, tricky, makes a lot of good passes and crosses, can play box to box, pressures the opposition players a lot when they have the ball, likes to dribble past players, he needs to work a lot on his finishing tough, last season he had 9 goals and 14 assists for Sporting and almost won the league.

2 players from Portugal that i wanted to see at Chelsea were Renato Sanches and Joao Mario at the end of last season, but Bayern beat everyone to Renato before Euro 2016, now his value has risen after his campaign, great piece of business by the germans i must say, shame we didn´t go for him, but we can´t have it all, so that only leaves us with Joao Mario, so we need to get him at all costs, we won´t regret it, i assure you. i agree, we should have chased at least one of those players, but now it´s more and more difficult, Joao Mario is up for grabs, but he wont come cheap, Sporting´s President is a real hard ass. Nainggolan would be great tough, but it seems a lost cause, one player i wanted for sometime now is Verratti or even Witsel

One player that came to my mind is Jose Fonte, solid CB, was great at Euro 2016, just a shame we couldn´t grab Renato Sanches before Bayern, but one midfielder we should definitely go after is Joao Mario.

I don´t read too much in to pre season, the main thing is to try tactics, and to get the players mentally and physically ready for the start of the season.

i think Bonucci would be a great signing, just what we need in defense, and Zouma will be like a new signing once he returns from injury, let´s hope.
