we had it in us all along, we have the players to do this, we just needed the required changes and positive mentality and football from the manager. If we make 1 or 2 more signings we can challenge for the league and Champions League in the future, for now lets just enjoy this brand of football, while keeping our feet on the ground, because there is still a lot to play for, the team just needs to keep this momentum going for as long as possible for us to reach our objective. Cheers mates and go get drunk today, because i know im gonna

feels like a dream seeing us play like this, long may it continue, thank you Conte

Hazard, Costa, Kante up for player of the month award, Conte up for manager of the month, Costa´s goal vs Southampton up for goal of the month, i voted for Kante for player of the month, Conte for manager of the month and Costa for goal fof the month. Cheers

Gomes was immense for Benfica that i can tell you from all the games i watched, maybe not so much for Valencia as i didnt watch a lot of their games, he can do the job but not as good as Rakitic like you said, he´s a back up player at best right now, but we´ll see how he does as the season progresses. City are living in dream land if they think they are contenders for the Champions League, they are due for a rude awakening, but we´ll see what happens in the knock out rounds. De Bruyne would be great with us right now, but i agree that he stays quiet many times, thats why i rate Hazard much more than him contrary to what many will say. Cheers mate

Joao Mario will come good for Inter eventually, Gomes might have a big impact on this Barca side as the season progresses, minding injuries, he does have the qualities otherwise Barca wouldn´t have bought him, if he can replicate what he did in Benfica and Valencia then Barca are in for a treat. Sergio Busquets is getting too error prone these days thats the reality, far from the dominant trio of Barca and Spain for many years ( Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets ), remember when we faced them many times at their best?, great clashes they were. Atletico with Simeone are always a danger for any top team, they have what it takes to win the Champions League, but the fact is they tend to choke and that´s a big let down, hope they can win it because they deserve it for all they have done in the past years, Bayern are always a contender, but they have fallen short every time in the semis since they won it in 2013, that team for me was the best Bayern team ever, the playing style, players and coach ( Heynckes ), everything ticked, but Pep changed their philosophy and they had to try to adapt, maybe too much, not saying its bad, but i think that they were better before. Dortmund are a mistery, you never know when they will show up, too inconsistent for my liking, miles away from the Dortmund of Klopp era, Juve will go far depending on the draw in the knockout rounds. City are not there yet, sure they had a good run last season, their fisrt, but they should have beaten Real Madrid who for me weren´t that great last season, they had a lot of luck going their way, the 2014 winning side was much better, but they know how to win it tough, City aren´t Champions League winning material yet even with Pep at the helm, but who knows what can happen, football is not an exact science. Tottenham really suck in Europe, Legia almost causing a major upset, Real were a mess today, Juventus failing to kill the match and paid for it in the end, Leicester would have gone trough to the next round if they won, still all to play for in the next 2 games.

i understand your views, Andre Gomes was immense for Benfica and Valencia, but the price Barca paid for him is too much, he isnt worth that, i never visualized him in Barca, i don´t think he fits in there, maybe he was bought just for strenght in depth, his Euro 2016 campaign helped, he´s not a crap player by any means, but Barca is not the place for him. Joao Mario is young give him time, and he deserves much better than Inter to be honest, Inter are a shambles at the moment, Joao has a lot of qualities as shown in Sporting in the last 2 seasons, but he needs a team that fits his playing style, La Liga would be great for him, he´s a great talent i have no doubt, i followed his progress in Portugal and he will shine, just give him time.

and in the end its always the same, they win nothing to show for it, but who knows? i also wished De Bruyne was here right now, but thats life, we need to learn from those mistakes. Cheers
-
Never expected City to win this to be honest, many congrats to them, i always enjoy seeing Barca lose, i hate them with a passion, this Barca side is miles away from the ones we faced in the past, not saying they are crap, but there is clearly something missing, they wont win it this year tough, Atletico or Bayern for me, but we´ll see. Cheers @@Essien19

im not going to make a big fuss out of this result, i wont lie, i hate that we lost, but it was one of those days, maybe too many changes afected the team's groove, nonetheless it was nice seeing some youngsters and unused players play even if the team should have done much better today, this will serve as a wake up call to everyone that there is still a lot of work to be done and a long way to go. West Ham are having their 15 min of fame right now, but expect them to crash down to earth soon, dont be surprised if they crash out in the next round of EFL Cup and lose in the league. The main focus for us is to finish in the top 3, dont even talk about the title now, now focus and prepare for the trip to Southampton, play the team that has been getting results, no more experiments and try to go as far as possible in the FA Cup, because todays loss is a chance of a trophy already gone this season. Cheers

just keep it up lad everytime i watch him play i see Makelele and Essien all in one player, he is getting better each day, another flawless performance and to add to that he scored a great goal, it reminded me of Ramires vs City in 2011, for a moment there i was seeing Ramires , his jersey is very well taken care of and Kante can only get better from here. Cheers

i wish he hadn´t left us in bad terms, but with his head held high, so many things went wrong last season, but now its in the past, we need to move forward, we cannot dwell on the past anymore, now its Conte´s era, a new cycle, new changes, new ideas, systems, players and atmosphere, we all need to give him support and hope he can succeed a lot with us. Cheers

dude stay classy and have some respect, he has his own views like everyone else, respect him even if you dont agree with him, there is no need to bad talk him behind his back, look im a Mourinho fan too, or at least i was for many years, but now my focus is on Conte and Chelsea, Mourinho is gone and while i enjoyed very much the fact we beat the mancs, lets not lose class and forget everything he did for uss, because the man is immortal at Chelsea either you love him or hate him, he made history anyway you look at it, he makes mistakes like every manager, hes not perfect, far from it but he has a massive CV to show for it, and he made us a force in football, and dispite all the shit that happened here during his stint, old an new, i wish the man nothing but the best in his future, but not against us of course. Lets face it, its Mourinho and to me he will always be our special one. Cheers
-
i share your sentiment, but lets not get carried away, still a long way to go, at the end of the day its just one game and 3 points, we have won nothing yet. Cheers mate

awesome, must have been great, always a joy beating the mancs and to trash them is even better.

i know who he was, he died in a horrible helicopter crash, may he rest in peace even after all these years, that season Chelsea won the FA Cup, 1996/1997 we signed Zola that season, the club dedicated the trophy to him just a shame he couldn´t live to witness the club´s change of fortunes and the success that came with it, it would be amazing if we got the win against United for him. Cheers
-
Le Tissier really was great back in the day
-
The club owes everything to Roman, without him we wouldn´t have enjoyed so much success, City who?
