  1. mate, Kante's signing has to go down as one of the major coups in world football, nevermind the 30 million, thats a steal for a player of his caliber, this in a market that has highly inflated prices for players, Leicester must be kicking themselves everyday, altough they are the ones who found him 1st and bought him much more cheaply, but he still didn't have the bagage he has when signed for us. Pulisic i hope he works out for us, i really do, i will hold my judgement until when he starts playing for us, the kid has a lot of talent no doubt.
  2. @Unionjack was just watching those cesc gifs, that sublime pass to split open Burnley's backline for Schurrles goal is his best one for us, also that long ball to Costa against Arse was precise and pinpoint, that is the quality that Cesc possesses, not many players in world football can pass the ball like that with so much accuracy, this is one area we definitely need to access in the transfer market.
  3. that summer we got the deals done soon, fast and effectively, mind you it was a World Cup summer: Costa, Cesc, Luis, Remy, Courtois, am i missing anyone else? one of our best transfer markets in recent years. Cheers
  4. Will never be much loved here because of his Arsenal and Barcelona past, but he has shown he is a great professional and did a very good job for us without too much fuss, just went about with his business and did what was asked of him. When we signed him he added an element of creativity in our midfield that was lacking since Lamps left, not the goals but the vision and quality of passing, played a huge role in our last 2 Premier League titles, also added an FA cup and Carling Cup to his cv, contributed with his share of goals, some of them crucial and made tons of assists, i thank him for all his service for us and wish him the best of luck on his new destination. Cheers Cesc and KTBFFH
  5. the league table at the end of 13/14 season, mind you this is our record against City, United, Arsenal and Liverpool that season, won both 2-1 (home) and 1-0 (away) vs City, won both 2-1 (home) and 2-0 (away) vs Liverpool, drew 0-0 (away) and won 3-1 (home) vs United, drew 0-0 (away) and won 6-0 (home) vs Arsenal and still Mourinho talked about us being a little horse and having no eggs to make an omelette ffs. We had no excuses im sorry, if we hadnt droped stupid points to the likes of Sunderland, Palace, Villa, Norwich, etc, what could have been...
  6. thank God City won, scousers brought down back to earth, no unbeaten season, at least the media wankfest can tone it down a bit, if only we could capitalize, but we keep droping stupid points urghhhh
  7. funny looking ahead to this City-Pool game, on previous years we would be sitting confortably at the top of the table waiting for the outcome of this game, wishing for a draw, etc. We need to compete again, its embarassing for us not to be able to challenge for the title on a consistent basis, this comes down do the board ineptitude in the end.
  8. "football is fucking unbelievable" brilliant quote this has to be immortalized just like Fergie's "Football, bloody hell" after the Champions League final in 99
  9. we just couldnt win could we? ffs another 2 points dropped at home, no end product at all, just so typical of us not closing the gap on Spurs and City and with United and Arsenal right on our tails
  10. wow just read the news on the Chelsea official website, tbh im surprised we pulled this off so quickly, maybe our board is not that imcopetent, how much did we pay for him? All i can say is welcome to Chelsea Football Club Pulisic, see you next season. I hope to see him shine for us soon, this is clearly a long term deal and he's still 20 years old, still a lot more room for improvement, but already a talented young player. Cheers
  11. dont forget the oxygen masks, most players nowadays are too soft imho
  12. with us its never a sure win, depends on what Chelsea shows up, we are too inconsistent for my liking, im still boiling over the Leicester home loss, this after beating City at home, go figure.
  13. lets use Thorgan as bait for Eden to stay here then hehe. The Hazard duo wreaking havoc in the league would be fun
  14. he should never have left us, he was a fan favorite, its all Mou's fault.
  15. hope so too, we have a shit habit of making these teams look good when we shouldn't, it all comes down to our piss poor finishing, and then the opponents get belief.
  16. stupid injury, all he had to to was stop the play, he was offside and still decided to shoot the ball, great finish btw but at what cost? Palace defender made a tackle and fucked Giroud up.
  17. Kante's awareness and anticipation for Luiz pass was out of this world, the movement, control and finish is what you expect from a top striker, what a goal. Kante has that is his locker besides his defending no doubt about that and i understand what Sarri wants out of him, otherwise he wouldnt play Kante so advanced
  18. Huge 3 points considering Spurs and Arse droped points, but man do we look clueless in the final third, if not for Kante's brilliant goal from a great Luiz pass it would have been a boring draw or worse. We need major upgrades, William, Alonso, Giroud, Morata are not good enough, im sorry but that is the truth.
