the mass hysteria infact seems to be coming from support who were not at the game. The way the OP and that blog on the main page are having a pop....its infact articles like these that disect the support. You would think there was a toxic atmosphere in the ground on Saturday....there wasn't. You would think that the match going support have been like that all season.....they haven't. Let me tell you this.....that was a one off match and from now on the boos and jeers will be less ( bar a few idiots who are jumping on the bandwagon and think its funny ) I have said it before, but the crowd performance was also not just about Mourinho and player xy or z.....it was also about us, thats right...me, you, every Chelsea fan in the world. It was letting players know that first and foremost we want them to play for us.....the best banner there was the one on MH upper saying "You let Jose down, You let us down". Forget about the hardly legible scrawl on cardboard and tatty sheets...they were just individual efforts and to be honest....there were hardly any in the 40k crowd. Reference the singing for Jose Mourinho....it was also a celebration thanking him for being special and remembering all the good things he also did. Will his name get sung again...of couse it will, but the repetitiveness of it will lessen especially if performances improve and we pick up lots of wins. But his songs, like other legends such as Ossie, Lamps, Wisey etc etc will always have a place to get sung on the terraces and I hope his ones like the others I mentioned are sung for the right reasons....i.e. remembering what they did for us. So articles telling us we need to be as one blah blah blah and the match suport should be doing this or that are not really needed. The match support knows what they are doing and are a very forgiving bunch

You found it embarressing...most support wanted to get that off their chests once they were in the ground and the match started.We have supported players who are playing bad and get mugged off for it by those that dont go. Yesterday was just one match. Take it from me....the boos will die down and soon there will be cheers of Diego or Magic hat again especially if they put in a shift and earn our respect. I want to see them fight for that ...not sulk because a few boos went their way. We are in a tough place and we need characters who will take the criticism and turn it into a positive for themselves and for us

P.s.what the fark do you think we have been doing the previous 15 games.....you should know the answer...you go on a regular basis

Support just doesnt buy their tickets so they can boo or jeer a player......that is what you inferred above.25K of that support buy ST's at an average of 1K a pop.... They do not buy them with the intent of booing or jeering someone. You making a statement that tickets are bought for that reason tells me you dont know much about matchday support

Sorry to butt in here...not sure if you have read my previous but actually, its the players that have done their best to disect that.We as fans at matches are generally as one ( those in west/ east upper sometimes need waking up after their prawn sandwich and glass of pimms [emoji12])

yup....but its ridiculous that some of the posters on here that use to mug us off for singing 'magic hat" or "diego" when yhose players were not putting in a performance are now mugging us off for having a pop at them both. sigh

how do you know it is counter productive...they responded well yesterday as a team. But you really do need to stop preaching to us how to support the team at matches. We know what we are doing and we show dissent to players and the team far far less than support of any other top club in the PL. The way you are chuntering on about it anyone would think we do it every match. So just back off criticizing how we do it
