Aubameyang is the one we need: world class, plays as striker and rw, fast as it gets and wants to leave Borussia. No good striker would come to be bench warmer, so if we want a great striker, he needs to be a RW too and i can only see Aubameyang, Griezmann and Dybala fitting this profile, with only Auba being attainable.

If you think goals are the only thing that matters for a striker, you're clueless. 35 year old Zlatan and Lukaku are not close to Diego's level. I wouldn't even want prime Zlatan over him, big time choker.

You talk like Matic was some pub player, he is not the most gifted player ever, but he is one of the top assisters in the PL this season, he was the best player in the Portuguese League in his stint there and was absolutely crucial in the 2014/2015 campaign. IMO he still is a very good player, not world class, but at least a Top 5 DM, i don't even know if he would accept to be a backup for Kanté next season, would be very happy if he does so.

I think David Luiz already does Bonnucci's function, we don't really need another expensive and soft defender.

I believe i was the one that made that point, but don't misunderstand me, we should sign him if we can, what i said is that he is not the best option to immediatly replace Costa if he leaves, the arguably most important player of our team, we should aim for a established WC player like Aubameyang, but i'm all in for Belotti coming along.

Auba himself for sure, the only WC striker available and can play as RW too. Belotti or another youngster could come as a plus, not as Diego's replacement. I will list all the others WC strikers at the moment: Aguero: Declining, probably not available. Benzema: Declining, probably not available. Griezmann: Too expensive, United bound. Suarez: Not available. Kane: Only available for stupid money. Dybala: Only available for stupid money. Higuain: Not available, old and fat. Lewandowski: Not available. Cavani: Not sure if available, old. And then you have the likes of Lukaku, Morata, Belotti, Icardi, etc that aren't proven on the top level yet, and maybe will never be.

Belotti is not proven yet and Icardi is an asshole.

Maybe it's already done.

There isn't anyone available on the market with these characteristics and similar quality to Costa, Aubameyang is the best option.
