Your math is wrong. Maatsen is pure profit 37.5m now. The 19m are spread over 5 years, so close to 4m per season. We can account for more than 33.5m profit in this window. On the other hand Villa will do the same and will have a profit of 11.5m from this deal. MAGIC 😀

We are in silly season at its best. We are close to buying or selling a different player every two days. All this information confuses me. I am really not sure what I want for the club. There are a lot of pros and cons with most of these transfers both ins and outs. The only thing I know is that we have zero leeway because of the past two horrendous seasons. We MUST get it right and be one of the top teams this season in order to keep our reputation. Let’s hope we manage to build a fit, competitive and exciting squad and support it with all our hearts! COYB! 🔵

Olise is injury prone, but has been one of the best players in the league when fit. He is also a dead ball specialist. This is probably our biggest weakness. We need to be better from set pieces both in attack and defence. I will be happy with a transfer window of Olise and Osimhen. Not too sure we need a defender. It really depends on the new manager assessing all current players.

Terzic contract at Dortmund runs out next year. Is there any possibility there and what do you think of him? He coaches players who can fit perfectly in our team. Kobel is a great GK, Maatsen can probably come back, Sancho can replace Sterling perfectly and most of all I like Fullkrug. He is like Giroud 2.0. Not that this is a direction the club is going in, but a manager who doesn’t depress me as an option nevertheless.

Only man who can stop Pep is Mourinho. Ask around in Barcelona. 😀 Jokes aside I am completely shocked. There is always a chance that everything will be great and we will be a lot better with a new manager, but it certainly doesn’t look likely at the moment. I feel like we have no plan and are making decisions on the spot. I really really hope I am wrong! Sort stuff out and behave appropriately. You are in charge of Chelsea FC. You don’t have any wiggle room left for mistakes.

This game penned out exactly as expected barring Caicedo’s GOLAZO. Both teams lacked the final pass, but were organising their attacks well. We managed to more or less save the season and all of us will be excited for the next one. We absolutely must be better. In my opinion Ugo was superb today. I was already counting him out of next season first team. We know he is quite big, but he was smart and skilful with his passing. Thank you Thiago! You were class! Hope to one day see you at the Bridge again! COYB!

We need the 3 points to show we are really improving. Five in a row is impressive no matter the circumstances. Losing at home to Sheffield is too much even for spurs. Lets send off Thiago with style. A brilliant servant to our club. COYB!

Joao Pedro had no weight on the leg James kicked. If he had stepped on it, could have been really bad. I get that Reece doesn't like to be fouled dirty considering all the injuries, but that behaviour is unacceptable. Very lucky it didn't cost us. Had it he would have been front page villain.
-
I just read that James ban will be 5 games for violent conduct. So he misses Bournemouth and the first 3 next season… Hope we somehow reduce it. What a stupid action on his part…
-
Results wise a perfect day. Would have loved the clean sheet. Reece completely blew it. Hope he still has a chance for the euros… Barco has a pass on him, but I don’t believe he is ready to be a prem LB in defence. Finally 4 on the bounce. A first in the new era. Let’s keep pushing! COYB!

Come on. WTF?

We need a second goal to see the game out. All decisions against us as they often are. I can NOT understand how are referees this bad. Pl VAR is beyond me.
-
Leao will be crazy expensive and a bit of a gamble. My shout for LW is Pedro Goncalves from Sporting. I see a bit of Bernardo Silva in him, but on the opposite side of the pitch. I don't quite understand the LB and CB links. We need to offload players in order to sign someone. Our defence lacks consistency and protection. Settled midfield can help with the latter and fit Colwill and Fofana with the former. Best case for this summer is finding solutions for our unwanted players(e.g. Lukaku, Kepa, young players on loan) and buying 2-3 experienced players ready to lead. We managed to do that in 2014 with Luis, Fabregas and Costa. We can have the same impact with Goncalves, Osimhen and a veteran midfielder to hold as a squad option. I really believe Colwill can have similar season to Saliba 2022/23 and build from there. There is a lot of optimism around the squad, but we can not afford to sign the wrong players, as we MUST be comfortably top 4 next season.
-
Chilly and Carney back in team training and no new injuries. Shame we couldn't sort it out earlier in the season. I cant help but feel ecstatic. Feels like we have new signing every week. Long may it continue. We have done well to finish above Brighton and avoid the humiliation. Lets finish this long and hard season with 5 wins on the bounce and start next season how Chelsea FC are supposed to. COYB!

Broja can probably be sold for about 15m. If we decide to loan him again and he scores 15 goals in the prem, his price will go up to about 30mil. If he doesn't play or doesn't score he will be worth 5 mil max. I don't believe the risk is worth it. If it isn't part of some clever accounting sell him this summer even for 12-13mil.
-
I have heard a lot of praise for CHO and I don't get it. He is a good player and had a good game against us, but he is right where he belongs - bottom half of the table. Pretty disappointing career after all the hype. Only regret I have is we didn't get more money for him considering we lost Musiala more or less because of him. As for our performance it shows how much we missed our bench this whole season and we still have 3-4 good players out (all of them midfielders bar Fofana). There are good vibes around us and it shows in the body language of everyone representing the club. First away win in six and 3 wins in a row for only the second time this season. We are looking more and more like a top 4 team. If we manage to add 2-3 experienced quality players in the right positions we can push for the league. We need a summer like 2014 with Luis, Cesc and Costa. KTBFFH!
-
Too physical for us and the ref didn’t help us one bit. If we can snatch a draw it will be a good result.
-
I would love to see Reece even for 10 minutes. As for the starting line up the only change I want is Gusto in for Silva. Use Nkunku from the bench. Lets finish the season on 5 straight wins and turn the negative narrative on its head. Come on Chelsea!
-
Everton bounced back pretty well after they lost 6-0. We are still in the mix for 6th. If we somehow manage to get it we can spin it as a positive season I guess.
-
After I slept on it it looks just as bad as yesterday. LOL Poch needs to find a way to finish the season with some positivity. Probably Palmer golden boot or someone of the injured players having a streak of good games(James/Nkunku/Ugo). We need to forget this season and move on, but as it is the second successive season we have to forger it gets a bit trickier. I genuinely believe that a striker who scores regularly for us can make all the difference. The best thing about a young squad is that its not that hard to make them believe they are the best. A good start to next season can make most of these players a different beast to come up against. COYB!
-
At least they didn’t score 6. The 6-0 survives. We couldn’t touch them. Let’s hope city do their thing and win the league.
-
Yeah, but Sari finished 3rd and lost to the centurions. Bournemouth was a bit heavy.
-
Next season will be our last chance to save our top club name. 3 seasons in a row will be our dead sentence. We will need at least 5 good ones to recover…
-
Can this game end now, please?

Getting embarrassing
