Hes not got that strong character to fully believe in himself I dont think. I've always thought hes had some character or mental weaknesses. And they come out from time to time and you can see it in him on the pitch. Was talking in another thread and was said that making him captain might give him a bit more ooomph. It seems to have helped him with Belgium. I'm willing to try owt for the team but I dont see him being able to stir up the team to do better when he has that trouble with himself at times. You would expect when you get to a certain age after supporting a club for awhile that you would learn not to get your hopes up. But each transfer widow I start off full of Blue optimism ready to take on the world. But bit by bit it gets taken away and end up at the stage where you just shrug and think fuck it. But theres still a trickle of Blueness telling me we can still make things happen. I just get so pissed off at out board its painful. If we tell the Mancs its Willi for Martial in the deal we will get a knockback I reckon. So do we risk selling him to them and TRYING to get a good balance with Eden or keep Willian? Mate he doesn't have the character to be Captain It needs someone loud that can pick players up and get them riled up. It takes him all his time in allot of games to get himself worked up.
