Serious question what does Jorginho add to the team, I’m struggling to comprehend his role exactly?
-
Who doesn’t, there entire team is insufferable, with Kane leading the way. You’d have a hard time picking a player who doesn’t have a punchable face.
-
Can someone remind me why did we give Alonso a contact extension worth 150k/week?
-
20 minutes in and I’m really impressed with CHO. It’s sacrilegious to even think about selling him
-
I completely forgot about that possibility. Hopefully that scenario doesn’t happen. You’re right I think we are the better team. All we have to do is build our confidence. I genuinely believe Sarri will take Chelsea forward with his tactics, just needs a little like klopp and pep. On a side not I’m happy Spurs lost, to me them winning the league is a doomsday scenario
-
Fair point. I guess I’m a little anxious because the margins of getting top 4 is very thin. Even though Arsenal lost form the’re still 5 points behind. Manchester United are rejuvenated under OGS. I guess we’ll have to take each game as it comes and hope for the best.

“ Obvious u and other youngsters havn’t followed CFC for long enough” I believe you made that comment mccg. That’s the reason why I mentioned my years of support, since you assumed I was a new Chelsea supporter. I’m open to constructive criticism and debate regarding Chelsea, but when you make condescending remarks and constantly use lol like a child, I figured that’s the kind response you’re accustomed to. Unlike you I respect other people’s point of view, and realize at the end of the day despite our differences in opinion we’re Chelsea supporters and care about Chelsea’s success. If that bothers you in some way than that’s a sad day for you.

Ok couple of things I need to address regarding your idiotic comment: 1- if you have any modicum intelligence and bothered to read my post, I said getting top 4 is our priority this season, and challenging for the title next season. I never once implied we are title contenders, but I suppose that went over your head. 2- who the hell are you to dictate who are and who are not genuine Chelsea fans. I’ve been supporting Chelsea for 18 years since the days of ken bates, watching players like Zola, Hasselbaink, Jesper Grønkjær, and Dennis Wise. I’ve seen the good times and bad times of Chelsea, and I don’t need someone like you to tell me how to be a Chelsea supporter. Here is a friendly advise mccg, don’t make assumptions and generalizations about people you don’t even know, because you’ll wind up embarrassing yourself. If my comment in any way triggered you, go cry in a corner

If you think narrowly scrapping a win against crystal is an indication of progress than I’m afraid you’re the one who is in denial. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that if you block hazard our entire attacking tempo goes flat. The Premier League has become extremely competitive and unpredictable these past couple of seasons. As I said before I’m happy with the 3 points but I’m not going delude my self and assume that everything is back on track. Changes need to be made in order for us to go to the next level and compete for the league. If you’re content with reaching top four like spurs fans every season that’s your point of view.
-
I may sound pessimistic but that performance was horrendous. Yes all that matters are the 3 points, but for the majority of the game we seemed clueless. Unable to penetrate opposition easily like other teams. We’re Chelsea the first and only London to have won the CL. There are certain expectations that needs to be met. Our objective this season is to get top 4 but there needs to be a complete overhaul of the team. Personally the players I’d get rid of are: Alonso, Morata, Giroud, Willian, Drinkwater. I’m torn on Ross Barkley, once in a while he puts in a decent performance, unfortunately most of the time he is bellow par. Any way happy new year every one.
-
Seriously this Chelsea team is really testing my patience. I’m sick of this crap
-
Is anyone really surprised by this result. When you have shit players expect shit performance. If Sarri ever start Morata, Willian, Alonso, he should immediately be sacked.
-
At first I was furious, now I’m just numb, what else to say about this performance.
-
This team needs a complete overhaul
-
To say that this match is depressing is an understatement, the team looked completely disjointed, we were lucky to get away with a point if Everton had more clinical strikers we would have lost, really pissed about this game, and considering our next fixture is against Spurs we could lose a lot more points.
-
I know it's unlikely but imagine if spurs bottle it and lose and we win, instant euphoria. I know it's not gonna happen, but i'm praying that it does, btw no Fabregas please he is becoming a liability and we can't afford any slip up, COME ON YOU BLUES !!
-
All we have to do is beat Liverpool, and then hope they either draw or lose to Brighton. Although i don't see that happening, but one can only hope.
-
My friend you underestimate Jose's personality, he can be bitter, petty individual. After his sacking by Chelsea and his recent toxic relationship with Conte and the Chelsea fans, their is zero chance he would sell us any player, even if he considers that player to be rubbish. He would rather see Shaw rot in the bench or the reserves than benefit Chelsea, but who knows he might reminisce about the wonderful moments he had at Chelsea and sanction the move, though thats unlikely.
-
Good point, anything is possible, from recent articles the only teams who seem interested are PSG and Chelsea, Bayern could place a bid but with players like Lewandowski, Robben, Costa, Muller etc,, they might think adding another player in their squad is not necessary but who knows.
-
He stated in an interview that he is comfortable in London and wants a team with with a winning mentality, if that's not a hint directed towards Chelsea I don't what is. They are two possible scenarios: 1- Arsenal could sell Alexis to Chelsea for 50+ ml this summer Or 2- Don't sell him and he could come for free next year.
-
To me this match is of utmost importance for 3 reasons 1- Revenge after that abysmal 3-0 defeat, I won't even accept 1-0 victory it has to be at least 3-0 or 4-0 ( I know it's difficult but one can hope) 2- Demolish their title aspirations, after this loss they'd be 12 points off the top with games against Spurs, Liverpool away, and City and United at home. 3- and the most important one to watch Arsenalfantv, I can't wait to see the outburst of DT, Troopz, Claude. Ty would probably blame the grass for the defeat, and Moh( Closeted Chelsea fan) would probably whine about historty and net spend and all that rubbish that Envious fans do of rival clubs
-
What might have been 😩, 11 points off the top, on the plus side Arsenal lost and Spurs drew their matches so I'm happy with the outcome
-
Tbh I'm extremely nervous about this match, I have complete faith in Conte and the boys to come up with something special, but considering that Liverpool lost to swansea and bottled their way out of 2 cup competitions in the span of 1 week, they'll be looking to release all that anger, frustration, and drive against Chelsea. This match will decide Liverpool's title aspiration. I'm not gonna lie even though I'd be ecstatic if we win our next two fixtures, a win and a draw seems plausible.
-
Massive win for Chelsea, let's continue the momentum . btw I don't really give a damn what the media says about Costa, in the end it's just rumors, plus it's well known all the media outlets hate Chelsea and they'll utilize any moment of uncertainty to disrupt the dressing room, I mean compare the treatment jose received while he was at Chelsea and the treatment he is receiving now at United, every article praising him to no end and kissing his ass. why, it's because he is at their favorite club, same thing with Liverpool and Klopp. When Jose was losing match after match they never criticized him, while Conte losing against Liverpool and Arsenal and they're making bets about him being the next manager to be sacked, so my advice is to take their information with a grain of salt
