Bakayoko is unsellable, this guy is beyond garbage
-
He can't win without spending astronomical money. Either that or he joins a team that's already established as the best in their league.
-
Looking it that way, you're probably right. However I think that he'll get 25 goals in PL, CL and FA Cup.
-
There's so much wrong with this post
-
He's extremely overrated.
-
Lmao there's always a chance. But realistically I expect him to score atleast 25 goals all comps.
-
Ban👀, let's talk after a full season by the way. Don't go all out in the first two weeks lol. Even though I expect him to start the season well.
-
Trust me, he's not the same player he once was. This guy has become something else under Conte.

Raiola is not Lukaku's agent anymore first of all. Chelsea don't have to pay an absurd 40m agent fees like they do for Haaland. Lukaku's price will be 120m euro's and Haaland would've been 175m euro's as reports suggested. Add 40m agent fees onto Haaland's price and that becomes 215m euro's, not only that but Haaland has crazy wage demands that are higher than Lukakus. Which means that the Haaland deal would've neared a 100m more than the Lukaku deal. I get that Haaland was the better prospect and that he's younger, but to think that he'd stay for a very long time at Chelsea is gullible. However the upside to that would've been his resale value. I personally think that Chelsea were just not ready to spend such a huge amount since they're looking at other positions to sign players.

Haaland is going to cost a 100m more if you add everything to it.

For those that say that Lukaku doesn't fit our system....false! For a big man, he's extremely pacy, and has very good movement. His link-up play is one a whole other level compared to the likes of Werner. Not only that, but we play with wing-backs ffs😂 What do wing-backs usually do? They cross the ball in when given the chance, and the amount of opportunities we've had to convert a cross into a goal is absurd. Lukaku is a demon when it comes to being dominant in the box and bully defenders when it comes to converting crosses into goals. Add the fact that Lukaku is a threat from outside the box as well, and we know how many shots outside the box we've had yet Timo/Mason/Pulisic etc couldn't even really test the goalkeeper. Lukaku is literally made for this system, and he will be surrounded by much much better players. People need to remember that we create way more chances than Inter. Hell we even create more chances than Man City under Thomas Tuchel! For those being negative, I'm warning you.......you're going to look like a fool when the season starts😂
-
I watch Serie A a lot with my brother, so I'm baffled at what I'm reading on this forum😂 I hate when fans that don't even watch Inter have the nerve to assess Lukaku as a player.
-
Am I still reading about Lukaku's first touch? I mean seriously? It's clear that people have not been watching him play for Inter, because he's not the same player he once was. Conte made Lukaku do drills on his own during Inter Milans training sessions. Those training sessions were to improve his first touch, and it was basically him having his back against Ranocchia whilst balls were played into him. If his first touch was bad then the drill would restart, and that drill happened all last season which significantly helped his first touch. Not only that, but Lukaku's football iq has improved a lot. His end product is amazing nowadays, and his linkup play has improved leap and bounds as well. I'm confident that he's going to destroy the Premier League if he comes. Ever since Tuchel has been here we've created the most goalscoring chances in the league. Add the fact that we'll have a full team fit and ready to go, because of the pre-season we desperately needed. Kai Havertz will start the season being in very good form, and we know how good his link-up play is. I hope he becomes the new Lautaro for Lukaku.

That's the problem though, the board solely focusing on Haaland could jeopardize our whole transfer window. The fact that we've wasted two whole months (June and July), where we could've offloaded fringe players like Zappa, Barkley, Drinkwater etc, and strengthened in other areas such as DM position(Rice/Tchouameni) and CB position(Kounde) is crazy. What did we really do this transfer window besides sell a couple youngsters? We should've done business earlier and signed a DM and CB by now so that we don't have to stress late in the window. Usually a selling club has the leverage late in the window, especially when the buying club really needs that player. We really need a DM and if we keep delaying it then we'll regret it 100%. Besides, we've been talking to Dortmund for atleast 7 months now, because the news broke that we're interested in Haaland in January. The interest was there for so long, yet there's literally no progress which is mindboggling. We should start focusing on signing a CB/DM first and look at other strikers, because Lukaku/Haaland are very difficult deals to make. We need a plan C striker, because buying players late in the window is very difficult seeing as it's difficult for a selling club to replace their striker with minimal time left. So that's why I feel like we should sign a CB and a DM right now, and have a plan C striker ready as a backup incase Haaland/Lukaku don't sign.

Too many smokescreens not enough movement, that's the problem.
-
What the hell? How come we've made two bids for Lukaku but we haven't made a single bid for Haaland? Very confusing stuff There is a huge week in front of us. It's make or break for Marina and the board.
-
It's August 2nd, and the fringe players are still here. Not only that, but we haven't signed anyone. It's starting to look like the 2015 summer and 2017 summer. Whenever we win a big prize, we sit back and take our time with signing big players. We should be going all out right now, instead of panic buying at the end of the transfer market.
-
Even if our players all hit form, we still need a classic number 9 and a DM. Most of us are disappointed with the lack of activity, especially after winning the CL. Now is the moment to strengthen our squad.
-
I'm not saying that if Billy stayed that we would not have needed a DM, we were still linked with midfielders last summer and in January too. With all due respect Gallagher is average and not on our level. You're under the impression that we are fine with three midfielders but in a full season, with Club World Cup coming up, we need the luxury to be able to rotate. We only have Kante that's a ball winning midfielder, we need someone with the same skillset as a back up. The reason why Billy didn't get game time is because it's a huge stepdown to use him instead of Jorgi, Kova or Kante, we've only used Billy when they were suspended or injured. A full season is unpredictable and to be honest we were very lucky with injuries in midfield last season, seeing as they weren't injured a lot. Saying that 3 midfielders is enough for a system that requires 2 midfielders, is crazy. Why? Because we're competing for the League Cup, FA CUP, Premier League, Champions League and Club World Cup. That's 5 competitions! Look at what happened to Liverpool, Leicester and many other teams last season..... you need depth especially in a club that competes for so many competitions.
-
No one is fine with us just signing Haaland this summer, we need a midfielder especially after Gilmour went on loan.
-
Is 1 month enough for all the fringe players to be sold and all our targets to be signed? It looks like we're not doing anything this month, I expect us to really push next week. If by the end of next week there's no progress then this board are about to fuck Tuchel over. Fuming at the fact that Man UTD are signing all these players while we're almost doing nothing.

Conte wanted Van Dijk and Lukaku, and Chelsea were not ready to splash to cash for both. The reasons why is because they found Van Dijk way too expensive, and Lukaku was a former player + he was more expensive than Morata. They shouldn't ask questions but back the manager that won you things in my opinion. Where did I say that I want us to sign that shit Stuttgart striker? These are your words, and not mine. I'm getting worried because we haven't submitted a bid for Rice, Tchouameni, Haaland, a CB etc. Not only that, but we're not even able to offload the likes of Emerson, Barkley, Bakayoko and you know the rest. I was referring to the fact that Marina is stingy when it comes to selling players. She's always playing hard ball and throws out unrealistic numbers, then expects other clubs to meet her demands. What follows is these fringe players value dropping after each year and them remaining at our club. Every year it's the same old story. We can't sell Bakayoko, Drinkwater etc, so we end up selling the youth instead. Here we go with the football manager remarks smh😂. Read my comment properly then respond bro. I wasn't talking about stingyness when we're buying players but when we're selling them. Are you happy seeing Drinkwater training in another pre season?
-
Will our board seriously do Tuchel dirty, like they did Conte? Why are they not willing to go for players after winning major titles? Weird bunch, the fact that they've been this silent is worrying me to be honest. It's not just the players that we should buy that I'm worried about but the fact that we still have to sell Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Emerson, Drinkwater, Barkley etc is mindboggling. Marina is fucking things up by being to stingy in my opinion.
