Imagine Sarri deal falls through and we stick with Conte only to see Conte walk away by himself after 1-2 weeks into preseason.

Right now we are beeing linked with Sarri, Higuain, Kovacic etc. only to end up with Conte staying, Hazard out, Willian out and a couple of Djilobobalis to fill out the squad

Probably because he know we have been tapping Sarri up for some time while we have refused to pay Sarris 8 million release clause in some stupid attempt to save a few dollarez. I would do the same tbh.
