Well, in any case, last time we wanted someone from Valencia we ended up paying his clause as they wanted that, just 24 hours after our first bid was rejected. We'll see, I guess.
-
Hope we up the bid as soon as possible. If Mourinho wants him, he'll react fast to this.
-
They want his full clause of 42 mil., apparently.
-
It depends really. Roma are a selling club and Di Marzio is more wrong than right for news regarding Italy. We'll wait and see. As long as we are pressing, it is good news. From my experience, a player loves to have the love of a coach. Conte's made his love for Nainggolan felt and that won't go unnoticed. As long as he wants the move, we just have to pay the 45mil. that Roma want.
-
Yes, both would like to work together, but media are just trying to make a scoop. Trust me when I say this, we have a better chance of getting Pogba, than Bonucci.
-
All we have to do is strike a deal with bloody Roma, leave the rest for when the Euros are over.
-
Really sad. Hope he comes back stronger. In the meantime, I hope that in 1 or 2 days I see info that we've submitted a bid for Koulibaly.
-
Read the interview. Think he wants the best for Roma and has said he'll leave only if they accept the offer and has a good wage at us. Hope we do it.
-
Ye. Just hope that we have alternatives. This shouldn't be a Modric/Stones type of deal.
-
Would've gotten on the hype train, if it wasn't for the typical bullshit source.
-
^Not directed at you. But, this isn't Football Manager, so ofcourse we're trying to see if they will accept a lower bid of nearly the same value. Personally believe that in the end of the day we'll offer the 45 mil. Euro they want. Whether they accept that is another story. Buuut, the Roma board said that is what they value him at, so..
-
Agree, but see my post after that. @petre.ispirescu What did he say about a transfer? If so be it, than a deal could be struck with RM early.
-
It's because Morata's Buy back option can be exercised only from 1st July to 15th. It's not about anouncing/registering, it's that I doubt we have the right to do so, before that period.
-
Do people really read what I am saying. The transfer can't be done officialy until, at least, July 1. The only possible thing is for Us and Real to strike a deal in principle or a pre-contract. Doubt that could get reported.
-
Thing is, the transfer will only go down if Real buy him back and sell on a good profit. I say, strike a pre-contract agreement with Real for 50 mil. Euro and convince Morata as fast as you can. Then on the 1st of July, BOOM, we have a WC striker.

That Belgium journo from yesterday said that the presidents words are like a "broken record".

I. am. crying. Mate, your posts are identical. Moaning about how the board does not care at all. As I said, OK, we get it. And me and other forum members have voiced our displeasure of the fact that you post the same thing over and over again. If you actually have different opinions on the different matters it would have been amazing, but you don't and that makes you annoying and unpleasant. So, yeah, feel free to jog on, because I am ending the topic and won't bother replying. As I've said, it's not about opinion, you can dislike the board all you like, but your exaggerated long posts on how they've never done anything, when Roman is the main reason for you supporting Chelsea on EVERY thread and EVERY player AND the fact that they are basically the same is atrocious. So, .. jog on, lad. And in order to not be completely off topic: Chelsea scout Piet de Visser was in Metz for the France vs Scotland game to watch Leicester midfielder N'Golo Kante.
-
Why is this guy not banned yet? As for Kante, some guy named F8Piraux or w/e on twitter, who I remember as pretty reliable from the Hazard saga(ofcourse, I'm not sure) said scouts were at yesterday's game to watch him. Honestly, I couldn't care less for Matic if it meant we offload him and Mikel/Oscar or all three, and replacing them with Radja and Kante. That would be a dream midfield. Even RLC could be slowly introduced.
-
So, let me get this straight. Mourinho is a genius in signing a brainfarting CB, who is undoubtedly a gem and will turn him into prime Beckebauer(like Zouma/Varane), but Conte and the Chelsea board are twats for signing a brainfarting CB, who is undoubtedly a gem and will NOT turn him into a good defender, because he has no experience with that?(*cough*Bonucci*cough)
-
I SWEAR TO JESUS.. IF WE FUCK ABOUT and NOT give 10 mil. more euro for him, I will explode.
-
I will agree to disagree, because I do not have time for debates. I believe you are massively underrating Rudiger. In our recent history, we have a thing for buying the 'better' signing, only for him to flop. I, personally, believe it is Conte's target. As I said, he left Juve, because of his final saying on transfers. I doubt he'd come here if he didn't have some assurance. Add to that that the supposed targets are all similar.
-
Really? And how would we know that now? I agree Marquinhos is better. Yes. But why would he want to come to us exactly? About the other 3. Yes, Koulibaly made an immense season and did look better than Rudiger, BUT so did Mangala at Porto. Bailly - Is NOT in any way better than Rüdiger. On FM maybe, but not right now. He won't be a better choice and I'd argue he's not even more mature than him. Umtiti - While I agree for a CB of his size(he is shorter) he is immensily fast and puts in a great tackle, he isn't the finished material just yet, so he is on par I'd say. Not to mention that ALL 4 may struggle to adapt and turn out to be just a baloon that pops. So, we can't actually say which of these CB's with nearly the same resume is better and who'd fit us more. If we were signing a Thiago Silva or Bonucci or someone else of the WC mould then we can argue. Right now, we are focused on Rudiger, which is ultimately what Conte wants. Why? Because they are simmilar players(with Koulibaly) and the Senegalese is his second choice. So there is something which he and the Board see, that we don't. Yes, we've scouted him for long, but Conte resigned from Juve, because he didn't have the final say on ins and outs.
-
I dare you to mention one WC CB who we'll be able to lure away. Please. And don't tell me Bonucci, cuz I'll bet my house on him staying.
-
Well, considering it's the managers job... Hope the news is true.
-
BS story. The most reliable newspaperr for Roma news said that Roma are close to agreeing a 22 mil. Euro deal and that his agent is travelling to London to finalise the deal.
