Chelsea will win the BPL in 2014-15 and Diego Costa will be our top scorer this season. Quote this post again in 10 months.

his post game reaction made me wonder if we are seeing the raise of the best chelsea squad ever?
We are already dominating the pl, playing some great football so far this season.
Our younger players like Oscar and Hazard improved alot this season but are still far from their prime, its scary to think how good they will be in 2/3 years from now and on top of that we have the best manager in the world imo.
So what do you guys/girls think? Is Jose building something really special here?

Next summer, if we want to stay on top for the next few years we need to make another few clinical signings. Reus is available at an absolute steal. He would be my number 1 priority. Pogba's contract situation is a bit iffy at the moment as well, I'd be keeping out an eye on him as well for now.
Another striker and another CB is also essential, but I don't know who those should be necessarily. Before for a CB, I'd have Varane as a must, but he's signed a new contract and would require crazy money to obtain. For a striker, I'd probably say someone like Benteke would be ideal choice to battle it out with Costa and Remy. If we manage to pull of these 4 clinical signings we'll be set up for years.
In: Reus, Pogba, ST, CB
Out: Some loan players i.e. Moses, Bertrand etc, One of our wingers (probably Salah) to accommodate the Reus signing, Cech most likely, one CM maybe to accommodate the Pogba signing?

Mourinho's merits. Thank you Special One. We are more dangerous with this three strikers in this season than the previous one. Picture explained.

Why are people moaning? He's:
Cheap Experienced in the PL - 14 goals in 26 games with a shit Newcastle team is an excellent record Clearly ambitious, hence why he joined us Willing to fight for his place (otherwise he'd have joined Arsenal where he'd be automatic first choice) An excellent squad player At his absolute peak in terms of form and physical fitness Able to perform as a CF or LW/RW in a 4-2-3-1 £10m cheaper than any other valid option, i.e. Destro, who also isn't proven in this league Not shit like Torres Why the fuck are people moaning?

I still have to pinch myself that we have overhauled a stagnant past it squad to what we have now in 2 years with relitevely healthy net spend.
The importance of the victory in Munich runs a lot deeper than "mearly" winning the trophy, we managed to skip years of painful transition.

Absolutely fantastic business done by the board the past few windows
Our squad has been improved by leaps and bounds and for the first time in a long time we have a really balanced team with depth and options everywhere

When you look back on a game it's easy to forget a keeper, but this guy was immense today and that is also credit to Leicester too.

Big signing IMO, a few people are questioning if he is a 'Mourinho' player and a few also worried his Barcelona form wasn't up to the standard of his Arsenal form.
For me to answer both these questions - his passing is so direct. Firstly with regards to Barcelona, coming through their academy he was always going to be technically excellent but his time in England and the Premier League molded him into a direct player, always looking to pass forward and viewing the importance of creating chances over keeping possession. This obviously isn't how Barcelona play, and I think he struggled to adapt to their slow approach and Barca didn't embrace his more direct style (he could have actually provided them with a 'plan b' which Barca are regularly criticised as not having)
Now onto whether he is a 'Mourinho' player, at the start of the season it seemed that Jose wanted to play with a team that press high and look to win the ball back higher up the pitch, but when also under the cosh in games could counter and break at great speed. One of the problems with this was a lack of striker to finish off chances, and the other IMO was the lack of a player in the middle of the park who could dictate this style. Fabregas will provide this with his long pass ability and directness to his play. Teams will be scared shitless to attack us too much because he can pick a ball over the top for the likes of Hazard, Schurrle, Willian and hopefully Costa, and he will also provide a cutting edge to our play in and around the penalty area when teams are defending deeper.
Superb signing, look forward to seeing him play for us. As I've said many times before, all the top players have an element of 'cuntishness' about them and I think we were missing one or two like this last season.
Also with the exception of us in his first reign, Jose took a season before getting it spot on with Inter and Real Madrid. I expect the same again. This is the benefit to having a bit of stability with a manager going into his second season and knowing exactly what is needed within the squad to get us back on top.

Happy we've finally signed a CM even if it's someone I don't particularly like (putting it nicely). However, my favourite part is the fact that we still have plenty of the Luiz money left over after signing an, admittedly, WC player! Cheers PSG!
