1. Dude, you really want to put in unexperienced players like Bruma as a 3rd centre back? That would be suicide, he is a good player, but it isnt fair to put so much pressure on him. We have to develop him, not 'overwork' him!
2. Difficult one, i think all things mentioned above by Kakuta44, play(ed) a part. What's the most important thing to do this summer is to give Carlo Ancellotti his chance to build his OWN one. I dont get very cheered up from the rumours that he wants to spend his money on Kaka though, he has been seriously overrated since that 1 particular season in Milan .
3. Well, i think it is a pretty good article actually. Not because of it's content, with wich i don't agree, but because of the discussion it activates! And roughly seen, he has a point, we need to freshen up the squad and get rid of some players.
4. Really good post there! I also found it very harsh and agree with you on the Anelka/Drogba part. I don't know if he also wanted to get rid of Cech (because i didnt read his name, that would be really extreme ). However the main point is clear; we lack creativity in midfield and up front. Drogba can create something out of nothing, but we should not have him as the only 'creative' player in our squad. Besides that we have Malouda, but i also wouldnt put him in the 'creative'-player category. Not that he doesnt creat anything with his good crossing and dribbles on the left flank, it's just it always the same and therefore not exactly creative imo. We all know Anelka plays like shit on that right hand side, it just doesnt work out. Previous season we saw him playing as a central striker and he won the golden boot, so i dont think more explanation is required there . Lampard has good passing and great runs into the box, nevertheless he also isn't exactly what i would call 'creative'. Essien has an amazing drive from midfield wich you could see as a form of creativity, because it often rips open midfield area's and surprises the opponent.
5. An average Inter Milan side has demonstrated to the football world what the majority of Chelsea supporters have known for some time; we are just not good enough. In truth we have punched above our weight for a number of years, kept there at various times by good performances from a hardcore of players; Cech, JT, Frank, Essien , Ashley Cole and Ricardo. For one reason or another it has happened for those players this year and doesn’t it show! The ‘rot’ actually set in during the last 12 months of Mourinho’s reign. He killed off any creativity that Chelsea had, selling the likes of Arjen Robben and Damien Duff and sidelining Joe Cole; replacing them with such world beaters as Mikel, Salomon Kalou and Florent Malouda. It would be funny if it wasn’t so painful! I don’t blame the managers that have followed ‘The Special one’ (his words not mine) as they have tried to play more entertaining football with a team lacking in entertaining players. We have a midfield with no real creativity; of those midfielders who have can play attractive football; Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack and Deco only he has real skill and I am not sure he is still at the club! And the three of them can’t play together as they all want the ball. My biggest rant is reserved for Didier Drogba! I have loathed him since day one; he really is a rubbish footballer who has contributed big time to Chelsea’s ‘downfall’. I know he scores goals (but not against strong defenders, who have no problem with his hustle and bustle!) but that masks the fact that he is a useless footballer (little skill, control, ability to create for others) and his goals are at a cost to Chelsea in the style of football we play; route one. It is no coincidence that Chelsea’s season has gone down since his return from the African Nations Cup. We can’t play Drogba and Nicolas Anelka in the same time as we need to play a totally different style of play for each and I know which I prefer! We need a big clear out; the problem being, not who we get rid of, but who we keep; it really is that serious. Of the present first team squad I would only keep; Ashley Cole Branislav Ivanovic (as a centre half) John Terry (one more season?) José Bosingwa Michael Essien Frank Lampard (one more season?) Nicolas Anelka Florent Malouda (only based on his recent performances) And that is it! Time to say goodbye… ------------------- Really, what the hell?!? I know we need to loose some players, but is that a tad extreme or what? I'd rather let Anelka go than Drogba. Especially the piece about the qualities of Drogba has shocked me, i know very few who have so much allround qualities as Drogba!
6. Thanks . Congrats in advance with reaching the magical number of 1000 posts btw
7. It isnt something big i understood, it is sad he is involved again in something stupid like this -.-<img class="bbc_emoticon" alt="<_<" src="http://forum.talkchelsea.net/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif">
Sigh, can't believe this.
8. Ancelotti doesnt have the guts to play other players i guess. Seen this for years at Milan where he did the same thing with his players. It hasnt come as a surprise that Milan is drastically bringing in young players since the summer. We also should be looking at our youngster first and AFTER THAT, if they don't seem to suffice/be good enough for the first team, look at new players from other clubs!
9. What did you guys think of the fans btw? Thought they were good at first, but then went a bit mwah. Not sure if I can't say anything about it because it watched it on television and most of the time you barely hear the singing fans..
10. Also Carlo has to show some emotion, really cant stand it when he looks like he doesnt give a shit (although i feel like he is very, very, very pissed off from the inside, his look is lethal. But still some emotion would be good i think, dont want him to look like Grant -.-). Kalou had on good dribble, Cole didnt have any, and indeed together they were invisible. Btw, i thoughy the pitch was totally horrible today, looked like they played a rugby match on it before the game started
11. Drogba hasn't been in such a good shape lately. Hope that doesn't break us up at the end of the season. The advantage of this loss is that we'll have more preparation time for games than Arsenal & United have, who are still in the CL. About the Players: Turnbull; Had a decent game, againt not much to do, couldn't really have done something about the goal. He has proved me wrong in many ways, looks like he has got the talent after all despite we haven't seen much of him. Zhirkov: Was pretty invisible, but could have had played a lot worse after his recent injury. Didn't bring as much as i hoped for though, his attacking wasn't amazing. Did make a very good block though wich saved us earlier in the game! Alex: Didn't see him make a mistake in defence, only a bit stupid yellow card imo. He didn't fail his defensive tasks, so i think we can't complain about his display. Terry: Really behaved like a good captain, was all over the field to defend our players when decissions went against them. Als his defensive display was solid, and together with Alex formed a good parntership in central defence tonight (despite conceding one, maybe not good enough?) Ivanovic: He was really poor this game. Didn't show up in attack, struggled to defence the Inter players down the left hand side. And ofcourse he was the marker of Eto'o with the goal. Although it was a great ball from Sneijder, he should have picked his position better (play offside or get behind your man, not 50/50 like this...). Malouda: Had a good last 15 minutes of the first half. Second half also a few good moments, but for the remainder of the game he didnt really excelled imo. Looks like we have the Maloude back from Lyon, wich we thoughy we buyed back then. Mikel: Dont know about him. Im pretty sure that if Essien would have been on the pitch, Sneijder wouldn't have been given so much time and space. Maybe it's not fair to compare him to Essien, but hey, that's the standard we are used to aren't we? Ballack: Had a good shot at goal in first half, not exactly a spectacular game from him (wich you also dont expect from him). But when he got subbed our game fell apart! Before that i felt like winning/scoring/progressing, but when Ballack came off, something went wron in our play. All of a sudden Inter dominated!! Lampard: Didnt bring anything special to the team tonight, although he was pretty active around the box and made enough runs to create something and pick up the ball. Anelka: Wasnt at his best either. Should have scored, had a few good balls and passes. But that's not what we should expect from him. Anelka is a player with great qualities but again he didnt showed them tonight wich was very disappointing. Drogba: As said before, Again did look a little not sharp at times. He hasnt had that edge he had in the first part of the seaon. Hope it returns soon because we need him in the remainder of the seaon. ----------

13. Well ,the way you talk about 'your club' isnt exactly sounding like a diehard supporter. Besides, Chelsea is OUR club, not yours.
14. Well, that's it. Now i'm going to cry in a little corner of my room. Cursing the likes of all those fucking divers from Inter :censored:. What a fucking cunt little bastard is Motta btw, little wanker.
15. Turnbull great reflex, not that it matters anymore, but good to see! We love you Chelsea!
16. I can shoot myselft now -.-. Maybe 2 goals is possible for ET, but thats wishful thinking probably
17. Jesus fucking christ. If we had Essien playing instead of Mikel Sneijder wouldnt have had so much space throughout the game. FUCK FUCK FUCK
18. Come on Yuri. Got to score boys! Come on Kalou, That's why we love Salomon Kalou, oh dear, hope this works out :s
19. We are slowing down, we have to fire our game up ffs! Come on Chels, only need 1 one goal:censored:
20. Fuck's sake, why do we get yellow cards for playing the balls & schwalbes from Sneijder -.-.?
21. Let's score one fast, that'll break them up! We have to score from open play, refs not going to help us
22. Come on Chelsea!!! Half-time came at a very unlucky moment for us -.-
