  1. Not sure we need a player who can't stand out even in a below average Milan squad.
  2. I hope it's BS. A few of my coworkers who watch the Ukrainian league told me that he's a very frustrating, inconsistent player: can have one brilliant game and be shit for a month. I even checked out the biggest Russian sports site(there are lots of football fans from Ukraine there too) and pretty much everyone agreed this guy was worse than Willian (my Russian isn't that good, but that was pretty clear).
  3. It's not so simple. Maybe Reus doesn't want to join us. He might already have an agreement with Real, as it is rumoured.
  4. Didn't ask my mate if Zouma and Christensen really played next to each other, but if it's true, that really makes little sense. They were probably nervous and with Cahill leading the defence... Cahill doesn't exactly radiate confidence either. Come to think of it, it's not such a big surprise our defending was so disorganized.
  5. My mate was at the game and he says Drogba, Ramires and Salah gave the ball away too much and his impression was that while Zouma looked pretty solid, Andreas looked pretty shaky and lost.
  6. No, we shouldn't. I don't care much about the league cup, but the game against Liverpool is a must win after our recent results. We need to be high on confidence against City.
  7. There's a difference between not caring when we lose and thinking of the bigger picture. Don't get me wrong: I'm not happy that we are out of the Cup, and I'm definitely not happy about the humiliating defeat, but in the long run, it might be a good thing for us, considering that City are also out. We can't afford our first team players to tire out, because as it was proven, our squad players aren't good enough. We can't compete in 4 competitions without our XI players getting tired and losing form. They're already feeling tired. We're overplaying Matic-Fabregas-Hazard as it is already because we don't have adequate replacements in our squad. I want to win the league. Anything else is a very nice bonus.
  8. 1) Let's not go there, okay? 2) It will affect the players psychologically only if they let it. Part of having a winning mentality is the ability to shrug a bad defeat off. If you let a defeat affect you badly, you're mentally weak(I'm talking about our players obviously).
  9. Having not seen the game, it's hard to judge, but from the commentary it sounded like those three created a lot of chances after they came on. We were just unlucky and Drogba apparently missed a sitter.
  10. What does it have to do with Cesc? The argument here was that Matic's absence is the reason we play bad/lose/draw/whatever. It's not true. We lose/played poor/draw with Matic on the pitch too.
  11. I can name at least 4 games since the middle of December he was poor in. He's hardly been a rock lately. It's pretty worrying.
  12. This. It's not about Matic. He's been shit in quite a few games.
  13. I'm not too bothered. I would have been more worried if City lost while we continued to compete in 4 competitions. We have a thin squad as it is.
  14. Tbh, we created a lot of chances in the second half. Seems Drogba was awful. There's not much Hazard, Fabregas and Willian can do in 20 minutes.
  15. Cesc? He shouldn't be playing this game. WTF Jose
  16. BBC commentators are saying Bradford have been brilliant in the second half. I'm curious about Jose's subs.
  17. Did you try the BBC site? http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b051jgc3
  18. Judging by the BBC commentary, we aren't exactly dominating.
  19. BBC audio commentary: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b051jgc3
  20. Not really. But sometimes he was better than other United signings. But he's pretty average. He wouldn't get into our XI - nowhere close.
