With all the mata circus going on,I honestly believe there might be a window of opportunity for piazon to return to chelsea's squad.If this mata gate does not get resolved and he stays out of favour for the whole season then there is a huge chance that he'll look for a transfer and if that happens then piazon will have chance to fill the hole mata would leave in the squad(It would be a huge hole though).It all hinges on Piazon having a fantastic nay phenomenal season at Vitesse though.Piazon's work ethic which is very Oscar like would definitely impress Jose.

Oriol is hardly getting any gametime at valencia.In my opinion if we need reinforcement in midfield then we will just recall either chalobah or Josh in January because like you said we cannot rely on Essien and Lampard and i cant see us getting any quality midfielder in January.
