I don't know why, but I really have a Feeling that Conte will put Matic in defensive Plamaker Role on Sutterdaye.
This is such an important Game ... I mean, it would really leave a deep Scratch on that EPL Title ... if we don't manage to defend it in the FA Cup Final.
We need Matic's creative Brilliance and his Reclaimer Abilities at the same Time ... This is it ... This is the Time ...

Arsenal are missing a lot of defenders so. They will probably play Welbeck, Walfraud and Giroud up front, so Matic sitting deep in the midfield wouldn't be a bad idea.
I'd play Matic in a Offense/Defense Switching Playmaker Role, right betwen Pedro/Hazard and Kante ...

Then there's the Willian/Pedro spot. Both have been fantastic lately.
This one is a much too important Match, not to play Matic.
On his Day he is the best DM in the World and not even close.
He can shield the Defense, control Midfield, create Offense, Play Deadly Passes, create something out of nothing with a Flash of Genius and score Himself in need be, even Crackers.
It would be too risky, not to play him.
We will miss him and the Probability, that he joins United, will likely bite us in our Backparts next Season - Him and Pogba tearing apart every Midfield in the EPL is a likely prospect not making me laugh the slightest.

Matic's Goal. Not just fore it's beauty but also fore it's importance. The Goal shut Tottenham down fore good b/c they managed to come back twice before Matic sealed the Deal.
Hazards Goal comes Second, although a distant one It was a nice Solo, but nothing special though as he went past to two Players only, before scoring.

I'm not in the Position to speak for Nainggollan. But I believe it's better fore him to stay at Roma, than coming to Chelsea.
He cannot adequately replace Matic. Because he is not nearly as naturally gifted as Matic.
He can sit on the Bench as Backup. But when it comes to Football Skills Comparison ... He can carry Matic's Waterbottle.
The Guy brought us 2 EPL Titles in the past 3 Years and probably an FA Cup Title.
If you don't understand now .. You will after the Summer Transfer Window, when you learn about Conte's Decision on the Topic.
Edit: BTW, there is not even a Topic. Matic is one of the Pillars of the Team. Replacing him is just wishful Thinking by some Forum Members.

I like Nainggolan. He is a Defensife Enforcer and Destroyer who might do well in any Team.
But the Question is, if he comes, will he be ok sitting on the Bench as a Matic Backup?
Because he cannot adequately replace Matic. He cannot replace him defensively and he cannot replace him offensively.
That's why Matic is so brilliant. He is the full Package. He can turn defense into offense and switch from a DM into a Playmaker Role, with his Vision. his Passing, Dribbling Skills and being a Goalscorer inside as well as outside of the Penalty Area.
Nainggollan is a Worker while Matic is a brilliant Balancer and not just a pure Destroyer.
So the Question is ... where is the Sense in making this Transfer. Just fore Nainggollan to be able to say "I play fore Chelsea now"?
I don't think he'd be happy with that.

The Problem with Nemanja is, is that he is such a great Player with so many Qualities, that as a Manager you don't really know where and how to use him in the most effective way.
Because he can keep the Midfield in Balance and destroy Opponents Offensive Efforts, he is used in a much too defensive Way.
I expect to see him switching Positions next Season ... Between Defensive Enforcer and Offensive Playmaker ... He got excellent Technique, a great first Touch, He got Vision and the Ability to release the right Pass in the Right Moment and he is able to get past 2-3 Opponents as well as the Ability to Score Goals .. from wide Range as well as in the Centreforward Range.
I guess switching him from Defensive Enforcer against more offensive and technical Teams to Offensive Playmaker against stubborn and defensively minded Teams next Season ... will be one of the Keys to Success.

He did not have his best game today, that's fore sure.
But noone had a good game, except Pedro maybe ... and Costa fore scoring a Goal.
Still Matic is a brilliant Football Mind .. and one of the Carriers and Pillars of this Team.
Even the best Players have bad days from time to time ...
