This bitter wank Roy Keane does my head in. Hate ITV's coverage

I think Moyes just seems like a soft touch and is out of his depth at the top level. The players probably don't have respect for him, even if they give him the respect for his position as manager.
-
What is your problem? Your attitude comes across with major stink. I told you the point stands whether it be about yesterday or the whole season. Sunderland was used in the last post to put it into context. No one will care what Mourinho said after Arsenal/Man U/Spurs/PSG. He will be judged on end results. It's how you judge a football manager. If he does the business he can say what he likes. If he doesn't then the unholy Russian axe will surely fall. Leave the judging of Jose Mourinho the person to the woman who's finger he put a ring on. After all she has to put up with him the other 22 and a half hours a day. We only need to listen to a 2 minute snippet.
-
He could be busy managing a football team. Maybe he's saying things exactly how he wants to say them? You just don't like it. Years down the line. Or even weeks from now, nobody is going to be going on about what Jose said after the Sunderland game. They will be talking about end results.

I'm not missing the 'fucking' point.' My point still stands. Press conferences are mostly for show. If he doesn't speak he would be hounded by the media and they would slate him saying he doesn't have respect for the fans etc. Some managers have accomplished fuck all by being nice and full of roses all season. You don't like or agree with his style that's fine. Everyone has different views. A JM conference didn't end the world. The other thing you will find with people where English is not their first language is that they are often blunt and straight to the point because it's simply a direct translation without decoration. Manuel Pellegrini can be blunt which could come across as 'shit talk' but nobody is jumping down his throat.

Just seen you basically said the same thing I said 20 minutes before me. Really should refresh that page before I post! Bushman I think the what was accomplished in the conference was a public display of support for the players. Again with a real world example, if your buddy has a disagreement with someone you usually back your buddy up then tell him when he's away from the spotlight what your real opinion is. But in public you support him. Jose supported the players in public. Whether he meant it or not will have been determined in the dressing room. Secondly, he accomplished making his feelings and thoughts on the referees clear. He was clearly upset and maybe it was heat of the moment statements but they had been said and he has to stick by them. I don't see why referees should get away with it all the time. They should be called out. I still don't agree it's all their fault but they shouldn't be getting away with such poor performances.

Welcome aboard mate. Mirrored situation to myself. Ex Govan Rear but like yourself , Saturdays just can't always be done anymore. Been quite lucky over the passed couple of months and managed a couple of Gers and Chels games though. Can't own up to any Rangers vinyl but will concede to being old enough for the Rangers Supporters double sided cassette tape that had this shirt on the front cover

What gets said in the media will have little to no affect on the players. What gets said behind the scenes is what matters. Press conferences and interviews are are all corporate-line bull just to keep the press, public and fans happy. Just like when you are at the airport and you get told your flight has been delayed for "technical difficulties." There's an engineer behind the scenes saying "the planes fucked." There are very few managers (and on rare occasions) that will use the press to get a message across to their players. A good manager, especially at the level of Chels and other big clubs in the spotlight will be keeping the players feet on the grounds and telling them not to worry about what the media say.

I think there is a few positions we could be bulking up on in the summer. We need another fullback even if only for backup. We definitely need a striker or two... Or three. We were spoiled for choice for attacking midfielders until the January transfer window. With the departure of Mata and De Brunye, then the drop in form from Oscar, and Hazard being injured we seem to lack creativity. I personally don't think Willian has being playing poorly in the way you say. He played a good game as the "number 10" against Stoke and then again, a great game against PSG.
-
Its really frustrating when referees make a wrong decision that goes against us. We can't just blame that though. We should never be in positions against teams like Sunderland where a bad decision costs us the game. However the standard of refereeing is abysmal and it just keeps getting worse. These guys have more help than ever through technology and even extra man power to get decisions right, yet they get more wrong than ever before. Some of them have huge effects on games too... It's not just us that have felt the pain of poor refereeing. As much as I dislike Arsenal look at the whole Kieran Gibbs/Oxlade-Chamberlain debacle when we played them at the bridge. Sending off the wrong player all together. Awful, awful refereeing. It's time that these guys are held responsible for their actions/mistakes/blatant impartiality. Clubs/players/managers face consequences for their actions (or non-actions in some cases) but referees get away scot-free when they make a mistake.

I think he was deliberately careful with his words to ensure there is no comeback. Are they going to fine him for saying the "congratulations, the ref he had an unbelievable performance."
-
See that's dangerous. We can't place all our hope in one player.
-
Off with his head
-
Every set piece against us seems to be a nail biting, eyes shut experience as of late.
-
In theory we have the quality and the management to hold our own against any team in the world... And more importantly the belief. Although the two guys sitting in front of me at the PSG game didn't seem to have the belief in them when they left in the 83rd minute. How they must have been gutted.
-
Let it out. Get it all out in whatever language you want Great post. We (both fans and the team) also need to remember that for lower league sides, them coming up against Chelsea (and the other big teams) is the equivalent of Chelsea playing a big champions league game, so they turning it up a notch. (Ten notches). Sunderland might go out and get annihilated from a mid table side, then they come up against Man City and Chels and grab points. Footballs a funny game.

HAWL, that's enough doom and gloom from you

After the Mourinho Freight train goes through the dressing room everyone will go out on Tuesday night like they have a rocket up their ars*s Cole hasn't played in a while full stop, never mind in his own position, outwith that 20mins or so last week.
-
Will he pull Kalas out of nowhere. He can play as a right back. Surely not in such a big game. Full back position is one where we have been left short this season. Granted the two that we play have been relatively solid.
-
Ha! Very smooth sir!
-
No one says or thinks that. Everyone has and is aloud their opinion but it's all about how you present it. Regardless of opinion we all have the same reason for being here. CHELSEAAAAAA!

Anybody lost this... Found it on the TalkChelsea floor.
