CFC and the Ukrainian crisis The UK government (Boris Johnson) is threatenig the USSP with sanctions. These sanctions will affect all sorts of Russian economic concerns they say. So what will happen with CFC ? Are they going to relegate us ? Seeing the brexiteers becoming so involved with international affairs is a joke really: but anyway. It's ludicrous. Why does n't Russia join NATO and get over with it. The whole affair smacks they don't like to have nobody to go after if they are both in NATO and nothing else. Yet is CFC supposed to be a Russia related economic concern ?

Maybe Lukaku is no better than Demba Ba but he needs a playmaker.

We beat them easily in the EFL cup recently so in theory this should present no difficulties. But apart from the issue of the two missing wing backs, this team is tired. Rotation is difficult and what happened to us is really what happens to all the small teams that seem to win the "winter title" and then crash bang. Saw Brentford yesterday, nothing like the lions they were early in the season. Utd had an easy afternoon.

Our attack is static. You thinks Chil and James too were lucky coincidences (to which I do not agree). Then what is the solution ?

Ok so you think Chil and James if alive and well today we 'd still have these problems. It's a point of view.

Look we have Ziyech and Alonso who are trying to copy these moves. Ziyech was lucky yesterday to score one but the rest of the time he was losing the ball or losing control and thus delaying the action. As for Alonso he does n't have the penetration he used to have. Other types of move we use can be described as charge of the light brigade.

Chil and James were scoring regularly. It was not chancey like with Christensen and Chalobar when they score sometimes. Unfortunately we lost both for some time and Alonso-Azpi are not as good. Then our attackers are locked in a permanent Lampard wall mode and the "weapon" Lukaku is useless without a Cesc around.

In the cl we beat City while the other teams we beat were good teams but not so great (and RM were undergoing a depression period). Kai is evidenltly not 100% ok after he was infected by the "O". Werner and Ziyetch are dedinitely not Chelsea material. If we had them here in Greece perhaps they would make statues of both in the public squares but the level of football is what matters.

Full price no. But Newcastle paid 33 mil for Hazard (while we think he could n't be of use back in Chelsea).

Kai is definitely tired. I think Ziyetch is preferred because despite his overall predicament he sometimes scores goals, whereas from Werner we 've seen only tap ins. Saul is a midfielder and Tuchel's real problem is up front really. Btw Giorginio was awful. He made two Man United like fluffs that could have costed goals. Lukaku is lonely and useless. He needs somebody like a super Cesc or an Archie Gemmil to make things up for him and we ain't got such. Only way he can score is if one of Azpi's crosses gets through one day.

When we had Hazard even entities like Remy, Bats and Morata were scoring goals. After him there was chaos as far as goal scoring is concerned.

At least that was n't like Burnley or Everton. Under more normal circumstances I would consider it as a small loss (don't tell me that Porto who has the same colours as Brtn are better). I was about to search the Amex stadium phone number to suggest to some of you to call Ziyech, when at that moment he scored the goal. But apart from that nuts from him. Between him and Pulisitch I prefer Pulisitch. Lukaku was isolated again and our long range shooters who found some opportunities always went for the roof (CHO=Kante=Kovasitch). Kai is certainly not ready, that being the reason he is not starting. About Lukaku again I don't think he is fundamentally different from Diego Costa. The difference was that back then we had Hazard who was opening defenses with his solo runs and feeding Diego. Also Cesc. In the end we did n't like Costa, because he was a heavy man and we did n't like heavy men. But with Lukaku we changed our minds and splashed 100 mil.

We got to play football for the 4th place. Forget the league - it's gone. We may just finish second because pool are not anything special but 4th pl. is enough. Last year it became a thriller from Hammer films.

Lukaku can't possibly adapt to Tuchel's system. Same as Greaves back in AC Milan 1961. They wanted him to play fast counters alongside Altafini and one-twos but that was n't his style of play. So he moved to Spurs.

Must be from several seasons back. From the colour it looks like a player of the visiting team -Ergotelis- and they are up 1-0 against AEL. Those guys want to take him out quick and they stumble.

I think City are making progress every year while we are stop-go. Two years ago City were fancied for the CL but went down unceremoniously to Lyon. Last year they nearly made it (we beat them). Now they look even better plus 13 points ahead in the league.
