  1. Great reply, people will rate him much better by the end of the season His link up play is greatly misunderstood. Florentina's quality in the team is poor and he took the blunt. His play in the Colombian team is a better show of his intelligence. Joint most assists in the World Cup doesn't seek to be to be a headless chicken?
  2. I think we should See him for what he is, a good player against poor to decent teams. Bring in the big guns and he quickly reduces down to a player that wastes a space in the 11. I think he's a major culprit and my worries if our midfield in big games. Matic almost has to be a one man band in most big games, especially as Fabregas isn't that athletic. I think willian will move to the centre for the rest I'd the season (in big games) and if it still doesn't go as planned another midfielder (not a number 10 though) will he bought in the summer. That would be my planning.
  3. Oscar is not first team 11 against the too teams people
  4. Waiting to see if Oscar is decent in a big game and at home.
  5. I think you underestimate how hand cuffed jose has been with AM choice. I cant remember the last good game Schurrle or salah has this season. No, I actually think our RM is the most complete position in the squad. The only reason that willian and cuadrado get compared is because there is overlaps, but more importantly they each are strong in the others weakness. Where willian has no directness, is poor in 1v1 situations on the wing and lacks production in goals or assists Cuadrado has these in abundance, they are his specialities. Where cuadadro seems lack the ability to keep the ball with his back to goal, may not be completely natural on a possession based game willian is. Given mourinho, you now have a choice of two players which covers pretty much any situation that arises or tactic that wants to be implemented. We will sort out the defence and midfield in the summer.
  6. Don't kill me here, but does the wall he runs with the ball and his mannerisms some types remind you of ronaldinho? Like he's always ready to feign either way.
  7. I can't help but think the club feels they can win the appeal. If they know that by appealing he won't be able to play city anyway, what is the incentive?
  8. I actually see Juan as an in between in terms of William and schurrle. He brings schurrles danger and directness with willians pace, control and passing ability. Of course, schurrle may have better finishing, and willian can keep the ball better. But as an overall player I think cuadrado is the stand out attacker.
  9. I think you'll be surprised by how much you like him in the team. If it's around £25m I think it's within a reasonable ball park.
  10. Well I would say it's very unlikely to have hair like cuadrado!
  11. Not possibly our away kit? Just me hoping though
  12. Positive. I see someone who will have a similar but actually bigger impact than that of Ramires. People will say he is greedy which he definitely can be. They may say his shots can be eerily similar to shurrles at times. But the will be just as many where this guy will take the MOM award, as an out and out winger his is top 10 in Europe from the season before (I think everyone will agree he hasn't hit those heights this year) I don't agree when people compare him to Ronaldo, messi, even neymar. They aren't wingers in the sense of wide players who track back are they? Would you say neymar makes his flank his own? No he is an attacking midfielder/striker just like the previous two. Although it's very tricky, it's hard because there are very few out and out wingers now days. Trust me when I say this guy will bring amazing moments to the bridge. Is he the saviour? No but then nobody said he was. He'll fit the system like a glove, specifically the right wing. Our counter attacking will jump to another level and willian will be pushed to perform at his best. Did you see willian's drive last night? I haven't seen him haste and dive to win so many balls he lost, and the cuadradi rumours are not a happy coincidence I would say. So to summarise; Great, dangerous winger More balanced team More potent counter attacks More competition in the squad. Win win!
  13. Their formation is playing to our weaknesses, they essentially press our cm's man for man and then press our Fb's with their wide men. Terry and Zouma aren't great at starting attack. Then you have Henderson and Lucas on oscar and the 3 CB's squeezing so that there is no space. Are most dangerous is when we draw everyone to one side and then free up ivanovic when Eden nearly scored the return. Hopefully more composure in the second half. Also this Liverpool side is athletic which is why oscar in particular is struggling. He hasn't got tremendous ability at going last people but he's decently fast. In this game, he just cannot power past anyone. Same for William and to an extent hazard.
  14. Sign him up!!! I promise you that if at least 10 more people say sign him up it will happen! I'm not superstitious
  15. cuadrado would fit our right like a glove
  16. ill be blunt. I cant wait for him to be out of the first 11
  17. Haha you caught me! only a handful but trust me my man my gut instinct is stronger than any poster with thousand of minutes of watching him play
  18. he wont add anything except take a seat on the bench. lightweight, but to the point is not a very good player. slightly above average but knows how to make himself look like a good one.
  19. I don't comment on here regularly, but from the sounds of it we don't have no heart, no fire. Not like the old days. when I was around 10-11 and could actually start watching football properly and understand it, I saw a Chelsea full of fight. Cech, Terry, Carvalho, Gallas, Makelele, Lampard, Duff, Drogba it was full of it! balls as big as the sun and had no problem looking absolutely anyone in the eye and saying come on then. We need that in this time. I see matic, cesc and costa have it. willian? spineless. Oscar has it. I remember at the bridge last year against lucas diving in. I want to see his heart on his sleece more. Hazard? needs to show more heart, more fire. Cahill has none. Zouma, from what I heard today, has it in abundance and he'll make it here for that very reason. Tuesday is the time for the players who want to be apart of the next Chelsea generation to stand up and stake their claim, for the rest stay seated. you'll be weeded out soon enough.
