  1. It was disgusting how he can continue after, disappointed in the medical department Really hope Oscar recovers
  2. In 5-15 years time, kids will be becoming up and saying I wanna be the next John Terry.
  3. Have a feeling that in a few seasons when we have transitioned, when Terry is gone, we have CB's that can play a high line and we go forward more...... We will look back and say damn that team could defend. Terry and Cahill are unbelievable when playing deep and Azpi with Brana make the back four top top quality. I mean world class. 3 games lost all season - one without matic (a place we definitely need to improve) and the other was an FA Cup game with half the team out. Everyone moans at PSG but in the home game the players just played terrible, nothing to do with mourinho. And it was 2 corners. And we still didn't lose. Chelsea 2014/15 champions
  4. I don't care what people say - how can you not find entertainment in being the biggest troll and winning the league?!
  5. Also Koke had a great understanding with Costa last season, him and Fabregas would create do many chances for Diego
  6. Thing is, I think our team would be better not because Koke is better in every way than Oscar but because the team changes, I can see the average position of a matic - fabregas - koke midfield being like a reverse of the 4231 triangle, basically Matic and the bottom with Koke and Fabergas ahead. This allows for better pressing and overload in attack and straightforward transition to a flat 3 in front of the defence when without the ball. All those three are good on the ball and I think are passing would be better than this season. Oscar's pressing fades in the second half for some strange reason so throughout the season pressing would be better. As would defensive solidarity. To be clear I think we should keep Oscar. Maybe he rises to the competition
  7. Yeh I'm just offering my view, which is nothing like Oscar. I think he's more of a robust, defensive Fabregas. Although Fabregas' technique looks so much more classy than Koke's. Plus I'm sure RLC is hardly going to walk in the first time (I'd love him to progress that fast but I think it's unrealistic)
  8. Here's how I see it, out of everyone in the transfer rumours section Koke seems most likely to come when you take into account the media lately and the type if player Jose likes. Plus, we have had a good relationship with AM since we lent them courtois, the communication has been there for years. Will he give us that hazard on the right? No Will he gives us that hazard in the middle? No But that's because I honestly can't see him player anywhere other than in the pivot - if I'm right - why the comparisons with Oscar? Surely that means Oscar and cesc will compete in the number 10? I think Koke will do to us what xavi did to Barcelona, not to that extent of course, but he will he the metronome. We've wanted someone to control out possession right? Take out good form and play into the big games? Koke will give us that platform. I see why people are talking like they are when they see him play for AM? I really do. But he won't play like that for us. Won't play in the same position, have an emphasis on so many long forward balls (certainly at home)
  9. Well we can see you don't know much about Koke - he plays mainly on the right and does better tracking back and pressure than Oscar. As a result he is always deeper and is one of AM's main attacking outlets in their counter attacking system. Risky, 15-20m forward passes are his norm, it is what he is asked to do. 78% for someone always playing those passes is hardly average. Perhaps you should check his stats for Spain.
  10. Coutinho's a mystery - it must have been the step-overs which did it. As for cesc I'm not sure I would have felt right him being there next matic and Sanchez. For me cesc compliments the midfield, he doesn't own it, put his foot down and take control and I mean in the big games not a home game against a minnow. When we played well he was sexy, when we played bad he was a shadow, but hey against 70% of the league he'll have an impact and that wins you titles.
  11. Koke suits Chelsea's needs. He can play in DM with matic and give defensive screening that fabregas dreams about. He controls the game more than any other player we have (would be our number one player at controlling possession) His delivery and attacking passing is as good as fabregas (better at crossing) our counter attacks would become more efficient. He has created more chances in the champions league than everyone except messi. So improves our defence, possession, counter attacks and overall chance creation? Can't see the problem. He's not an athlete and won't dominate a midfield like pogba, like yaya and not like matic. Even Verratti has more control of a game physically anyway. But he's far from weak and I wouldn't call him slow, just average. Verratti is impossible to get. Pogba is very very difficult.
  12. sure. The site looks a bit noobish I know but.. well all I can say is just see what he says (the guy is ED002 who is the main one to reply) and then compare to what happens in the summer. If he's wrong then don't take no notice. Just search for Chelsearumours.co.uk on google. its actually part of a bigger transfer rumour website. As I said, see what happens over the summer and you can see if he's a BSer or a reliable guy to check out.
  13. So there's a football rumours website I go on and there's one guy who's been very accurate for years (I know I know, same old story) But he had the Torres, mata, costa, Luis, willian and matic transfers right just from my memory (and before they heated up I'm the news) Anyway regardless of you taking what I say with a pinch of salt or completely ignoring me, he said that chelsea and atletico are advanced enough in their talks for the question to go to ambramovich to give the green light. Regardless I'm excited as hell. So not really seeing much of him I went to compare him on squawka, specifically with matic, carrick, Coquellin and Pogba. I wanted to see if he can't help us be more solid defensively while playing football like the start of the season. http://www.squawka.com/comparison-matrix#la_liga/2014/2015/koke/136/136/1546/0/p|premier_league/2014/2015/nemanja_matic/126/126/9284/0/p|premier_league/2014/2015/michael_carrick/126/126/575/0/p|premier_league/2014/2015/francis_coquelin/126/126/380/0/p|serie_a/2014/2015/paul_pogba/137/137/2710/0/p#total_forward_passes/total_passes/pass_completion/key_passes/chances_created/avg_pass_length/tackles_won/tackles_lost/successful_take_ons_%/aerial_duels_won_%/fouls_committed/interceptions/blocks/defensive_errors/cards_for_bad_tackles#total He's better than I thought. Not an out and out DM but very proactive. He tackles loads and his success is he similar to Matic, he seems very poor actually running with the ball and only wants to pass but that's what we need - someone to control the game for us. His range is excellent and I expect his longe range passing to be even better when playing deeper for us than on the right as he does for athletico. To sum up - he would compliment matic and help in defence, but matic would be the main DM. Pressing would improve as well as control of the ball in the bigger games. He would take pressure of cesc both offensively and defensively and would probably do the same for Oscar. He won't make the attack or defence but he'll chip in effectively in both and allow hazard, oscar and cesc to perform better, same will go for matic. Courtois Bane Cahill Terry Dave Matic Koke. Fabregas Willian. Hazard Costa Oscar and Zouma at least will be challenging for a place in the 11 so competition should be higher for places next season. Just have to hope all of this isn't BS
  14. Does that mean drogba is not on the bench? Which means remy isn't starting?!
  15. Still waiting for this thread to heat up
  16. Courtois Bane Cahill terry Dave Zouma Matic. Cesc Willian. Hazard Remy/drogba Just dominate the midfield both physically and technically.
  17. Let's just say not a game for cuadrado!
  18. Starting to lose faith in him - when he came on it was a game by premier league standards with lots of space and still looked terrible. Worst part was his direct running was non existent in positions he should be doing it.
  19. I don't think age makes too much of a difference, some people's personalities are just shy/nervous regardless of how old they are. I think if salah went from England to spain or Germany then the point is a fair one, but hes going to Itlay, I don't think his perfomances hold too much.
  20. I think hes obviously still adapting, hes overthinking and so cautious its unreal. Lol at how crap he is, he had a terrible 10 minutes sure, but look at the pages when he played the majority of the game against everton, not so bad was it? if he was to get atleast 30 minutes for three games in a row you'd see a different player im sure.
  21. on a personal note, I like the kid. he looks the a decent person, I think at times he shows heart as well. he was the best player on the pitch against arsenal this season. But enough is enough. He Is Not A Chelsea Starter. have him as a squad player or sell him. I wouldn't mind keeping him, he'll come in handy and have his good moments, probably mostly at the start of the season and only in cup competitions and against lower opposition. but you need these players, especially towards the end so you can rotate properly, and importantly jose would trust to rotate him in.
