  1. He has us were he wants us, which is by the balls. Unless Roman bites the bullet, we're in big trouble. Roman needs to sack the idiot responsible for giving him that contract. I think it's Granovskaia or whatever the f*** she calls herself. Amateurism and a tremendous amount of foresight. I don't know were Roman finds these people. What, was the way we were playing for the entirety of the 2nd half of last season and even parts in the 1st half not enough for alarm bells to go off? Were there not enough signs there to at least hold off on any new contract?
  2. Mourinho has been mediocre since he left Inter. I judge him by the high standard he regards for himself. Take it as you like, but that's my opinion.
  3. Hats off to Mourinho and his marketing team. Despite the fact Mourinho has been borderline mediocre for the last 5 years at least. These guys are doyens at propagating the myth of Mourinho the Supreme Tactician / Best manager in the World ™ . I laugh in the face of the gullible fools that believe that garbage.
  4. Klopp and Emery. Two excellent options. Trophies, attacking football, trust in youth.
  5. Completely lost the dressing room, methinks. Doesn't seem to know what he's doing anymore. Fucking abysmal. The clown(s) in our board who gave him a new contract deserve to be sacked as well. We're getting dragged through the mud with this guy. Roman, please act now! Put him and us out of our misery.
  6. Mourinho's negative influence on this team is making good players look much worse than they actually are. I have some sympathy for Cesc. Until this bloke is still our manager, I'm done blaming individual players. They can only do what their manager instructs them to do in training and try and implement it on the pitch.
  7. Yet another attempt to discredit a world class manager like Klopp in order to big up "best manager in the world", Mourinho. Last I checked, Klopp's Dortmund absolutely destroyed Mourinho's Real Madrid 4 goals to 1, while playing some of the most beautiful football I've seen in the last decade. That Dortmund team was built from scratch by Klopp. Mourinho had at his disposal the most expensively assembled team in the history of football (at least at the time).
  8. Ancelotti and Klopp are fine. I've personally lobbied for the latter to be our new manager. But why not Emery at Sevilla? Love him. Marcelino at Villareal? Nuno? La Liga is producing some of the most talented managers in Europe right now. Schmidt. Montella. Pochettino and Conte. I liked Tuchel but he's now at Dortmund. Only 42, but talented. He's gone there and stabilized the ship. THIS, is what we should be looking at. Young, hungry managers with new, fresh and the latest and most up-to-date ideas in football. Young, hungry managers who practice and preach an attacking/expansive football philosophy and actually implement it. Young, hungry managers who aren't afraid to trust in youth. Young, hungry managers who manage to attain a certain level of success relative to the teams' they manage. Other teams with far less resources than us are able to achieve these, so why not us? We have to take some risks now and look at these sort of managers. These are the ones that can bring true stability to the club. If we want to stop the culture of firing managers, we have to start a culture of hiring the right men in the 1st place! Scolari, AVB, Di Matteo, Mourinho for the 2nd time, NEVER should have happened for several reasons many of us already know. The people responsible for these decisions need to be held accountable for their errors. In more than a decade under Roman, we're yet to find a manager that even ticks most of the boxes. If we want to find that guy and pursue stability under that guy, Roman and the board are going to have to start thinking outside the box and taking some risks. (Preferably on managers from the truly big European leagues, who've shown their mettle, we don't want another AVB)
  9. We have to be the worst attacking team in the entire league. Boring, unimaginative, predictable, stale and tepid stuff. Incredibly painful to watch, especially with all the talent we have. It's like having a Ferrari and never being able to take it for a cruise in the city.
  10. Have we even done anything relevant with the ball so far?
  11. It's getting old now. Costa's behaviour is slowly turning him into a liability as he's either injured or suspended. He has now become a target of the FA and the Premier League governing bodies. I can't honestly defend his behaviour anymore as just being "strong-arm or old school". That's not it, he doesn't seem able to control himself. Doesn't Mourinho ever have serious words with him? Mourinho was defending Costa in his post-game interview with the lame excuse of "fans come to see aggressive players like Costa", but generally, this is isn't true. Maybe back in the day, yes, but English football is no longer like that. If Costa does get banned for 3 matches, the club need send a message to Costa by fining him his wages. Let him know we don't tolerate this kind of thuggery.
  12. Probably our best performance of the season so far. Great game from Eden, Matic and Zouma. Excluding the decision to continue with Ivanovic, Mourinho can be justified in his decision making today.
  13. True that. There were match-days in his 1st spell when he just made these substitutions and like magic, completely changed the game in our favour. In reality, he's failed to reinvent himself and move with the times. One thing that made Fergie so successful over such a long period was his willingness to constantly reinvent himself. To absorb new ideas and trends.
  14. Moses in his 1st season at Chelsea scored more goals than Willian has done in almost 100 games for Chelsea. If Moses is a mid-table player, then ideally Willian shouldn't be Chelsea material. But he starts every game. Moses with his direct style of play is a player that could offer us a different dimension but was never given a chance. I pointed out Moses just to show the lack of fairness Mourinho shows to some players and his willingness to completely ostracize them from the squad, to the detriment of the squad. Just like with De Bruyne, Mata, Filipe Luis and Remy.
  15. Mourinho has been given everything by the board. With the players he has at his disposal, he should be finishing in the top two this season and reaching at least the semi-finals of the Champions league. If anything, we've been left with a stick thin squad of players, thanks to his unwillingness to make use of his entire squad. De Bruyne, Mata, Filipe Luis all gone. Remy, a striker we signed for 10 million last season barely gets a game. Moses never even given a chance. Moses was beasting it for West Ham last night and impressed massively in pre-season but was rewarded with being loaned out. Don't blame the board, blame Jose.
  16. Hazard has said severally that Mourinho just tells him to go on the pitch and basically create his own play. Use his imagination. Work his own magic so to speak. I remember Robben also saying this about Mourinho as well. I'm sure it's the same for our other attackers. No need to speculate, you can see it in the way we play when we go forward. Chaotic and clueless. Mourinho is famed for his team's defensive organisation but it seems he has little to offer at the other end of the pitch. Now even our defense is as porous as anything. Despite the fact we defend deeper and commit more bodies in defensive situations than any one of our top 4 rivals.
  17. Answer this honestly. Does Mourinho have any sort of history of being able to drag his clubs out of a quagmire?
  18. We're in a crisis. We're leaking goals and creating nothing. We're close to the relegation zone. You make it sound like there's a switch we can turn off and on and we magically start playing well again.
  19. Tactically speaking, Is there any reason to believe the bad spell and the terrible football won't continue? I'm not interested what Jose is or is not admitting. He is a man under pressure and his pressers just get more pointless and irrational after each bad result.
  20. If there's any consistency on this forum, this guy should be suspended as well.
