Boga IMO is the best player in our academy and that's saying a lot considering the top quality players we have at this moment. He's always a level above the others when I watch the youth team. I've said it before that he has that world class potential. He also seems physically able to deal with the step up to the senior team. Can't wait till Jose gives him his debut.
-
He's not the only England national team player to suffer a hangover from the WC. Jagielka has been very poor for Everton. Perhaps he needs an extended time off to re-discover his form and concentration because this is far below his normal level. Ivanovic should be the guy to temporarily fill in for him as I don't believe Zouma is ready to do so yet.

The game just further exemplifies how neither Schurrle or Willian are reliable enough to be starters in the future. Lack of quality and consistency there is a worry that has to be addressed in the summer. Oscar looked clueless out there without Fabregas to hold his hand. Failed to take on his role as the playmaker. Costa apart from the goal was pretty poor, I thought. Mikel, no words needed to describe his performance. Luis has to be remain in the starting XI. Overall, pretty dismal performance with only Hazard making it watchable. What a player he is.

(1) Hazard man crush. (who can blame him?) (2) Azpilicueta "such a great one on one defender" (3) Ivanovic apparently a "diver" (4) Costa "old school striker" I can go on and on, his commentary is littered with tiresome repetitions in every game. He's okay nowadays, I guess. Before, used to be very anti-Chelsea but now seems to like the new Chelsea more.
-
It just shows how we need an upgrade on the right wing next season. Neither Schurrle or Willian ultimately good or reliable enough.
-
Average game from Oscar and awful one from WIllian. Schurrle should grab his chance.
-
This has already been said but Hazard is an absolute genius.
-
Huddlestone. Typical English mentality. Lumbering fool with barely a modicum of talent getting carried away.
-
Looks like Cahill was trying to avoid the challenge there but what do I know. Please Ramires and Schurrle for Willian and Mikel.
-
Are you watching the same game?
-
I can't believe Mikel is still on the pitch.
-
Mikel looks like a lumbering oaf out there. Jose please take him out of his misery and bring Ramires on!
-
Mourinho should tell (1) Oscar to drop deeper into midfield and try and be the ball-carrier from the back. They're absolutely pressing the life out of our back four and pivot. (2) Trying to play direct from Cech to Costa isn't working either as Costa isn't good holding up the ball with his back to goal. (3) I also won't mind seeing Ramires replace Mikel at half-time. Steve Bruce has gotten his tactics spot on so far.
-
His goals could lead to Mourinho losing his job!
-
Except from the man who scored the goal.
-
Absolutely fucking disgusting. If he doesn't fuck off from that club in January and helps them win the title, he's seriously risking tainting his legacy here.
-
Who will bring it out from the back? Oscar should be dropping deep but he isn't doing that. He looks like a lost child on the pitch without Fabregas beside him.
-
Filipe!! Nice!

If Hazard was poor in this game, I shudder to know the adjective that can be used to describe the non-performances of Costa, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Oscar and Willian. Hazard can't be a super hero when we play like that. It's not even a situation where you can say, "give us a special moment" That's how bad we were. The clear negative was that he lost the ball a little bit too much, but the ref was ignoring a lot of clear fouls today.
-
I disagree completely. I thought given the circumstances, he was clearly the brightest spark in attack. Many dangerous balls that others failed to capitalize on and was the only one who looked a threat with the ball, especially in the opening 20 mins of either half. Predictably had less influence when we went a goal down and started to play so incoherently.
-
We've been terrible away from home recently. 2 wins in 6 games. We are also playing very badly generally away from home (excluding Schalke away). It's a serious worry, especially as City are now back in form. If Mourinho persists with his team selection, this will be more than a blip.
-
Football is not a stagnant game. It changes week in week out, and so do opinions. What I said about Mourinho still stands. We're generally playing much better and he's at kept his word on the "evolution" bit. My comment was about the team selection. I've been hammering that point about Azpilicueta consistently for weeks now, but he's so amazing in one vs one situations, isn't he? Actually read it before talking nonsensical unintelligible bullshit. I'm not in that mood right now.
-
The only thing I can say in his defense is that he's played far too many mins for club and country this season and it shows. No player has played more mins for Chelsea this season. He's looked out of sorts in the last few games and should have been rotated more.
-
Before people start blaming Hazard for the 2nd goal, please be fair and see where he lost the ball. It was in our own half almost. It was a very retreivable position but we failed to deal with it despite having so many bodies back. The entire midfield and defense were terrible there. Hazard like many of our other players was trying to hard to force the issue after going a goal behind and got caught out. I won't crucify him for that at all. Instead, WHY we looked so clueless after going a goal behind is a much bigger problem.
-
Terrible. All on him but he'll find away to talk shit and blame somebody else. He should come out and say he selected the wrong players. Azplicueta at LB AGAIN is daft and he acknowledged that with his sub. Ivanovic has been a nonentity recently. No Remy is unforgivable especially when it was clear no one was making runs to Hazard's balls into the box. Nothing was learnt from the Sunderland game. The partiality and favouritism to certain players needs to stop. Luis LB, Azpi RB, more Remy, Costa isn't undroppable when he's having a mare. Ivanovic is far from undroppable. We fans see all these things and don't need a multi-million pound salary to make adequate adjustments. And the fact we looked so clueless after going a goal behind is worrying. The players looked like they didn't know what they were supposed to do.
